摘要
随着翻译行业的快速发展，翻译公司对译员提出了更高的要求，即不仅要有速的提升更要质的提高。
因为这不仅关系到翻译公司的形象，也关系到翻译对社会的影响。
因此，作为MTI专业的学生，不仅要掌握基础的翻译技巧和策略，还应当具备较强的语言能力，并且熟练操作计算机辅助翻译软件。
MTI专业学生到大型翻译公司实习，可以应用所学知识，认识自己的优势与不足，从而达到提高翻译水平的目的。
笔者在成都语言桥翻译公司实习期间，主要学习了计算机辅助翻译软件TRADOS的使用，也就是TRADOS在独立翻译和团队翻译时的具体操作。
报告分为四部分。
第一章介绍了实习单位的情况和实习的主要内容；
第二章集中论述了翻译实践过程中遇到的两个主要问题，翻译的速度和效率问题；
第三章主要是针对出现的问题所提出的解决方案，也就是将译员翻译和计算机辅助翻译相结合；
最后一章是结论，主要总结此次实习中笔者学习所学到的专业知识和获得的经验。
通过本研究，笔者希望为在校MTI研究生的翻译学习提供参考，鼓励他们将理论学习和实践结合起来，及早熟练掌握机器辅助翻译相关操作，以此来提升自我能力。

Abstract
Withtherapiddevelopmentoftranslationindustry,translationcompaniesbringforwardhigherrequirementsontranslators.Theyshouldnotonlyimprovethetranslationspeed,butalsoimprovetranslationquality.Becausethisrelatestocompanies5imageandtotheimportantinfluenceoftranslationonthesociety.AsMTIstudents,weshouldmasterthebasictranslationstrategiesandtechniques,andalsohavestronglanguagecompetenceandbegoodatusingtheCAT（ComputerAidedTranslation）software.DoinginternshipsinbigtranslationcompaniescanencourageMTIstudentstoapplywhattheyhavelearned,tofindtheiradvantagesandweaknesses,soastoperfecttheirtranslationlevel.Duringtheinternshipperiod,theauthormainlylearnedtousetheCATsoftware thespecificoperationsof
TRADOSinindividualandteamtranslation.
Thisreportconsistsoffourparts.Chapteroneintroducesthetranslationcompanyandhermainworkduringtheinternshipperiod.Chaptertwofocusesonthetwomainproblemsthatencounteredduringthetranslation.Oneistheslowtranslationspeedandtheotherispoortranslationquality.Chapterthreegivesthesolutionstothesetwoproblems.ThesesolutionsinvolvecombiningtranslatorswithCAT.Thelastchaptermakesasummaryofwhatshehaslearnedwithrespecttoprofessionalknowledgeandexperiencesgainedfromtheinternprogram.
Throughtheresearch,IhopetoprovideMTIgraduatestudentswithcertainpracticalreferenceandencouragethemtocombinetheorystudywithpracticeandtomasterCATsoftwareoperationskillsassoonaspossiblesoastoperfecttheirtranslationcompetence.

ChapterOneOverviewoftheInternshipProgram
Thischapterprovidesabriefintroductiontotheinternshipprogram,includingtheintroductiontothecompanywhereweworkedandourmaintasksinthisprogram,withaviewtohelpingthereadersgetabetterunderstandingoftheprogramandtheresponsibilitiesofbeingatranslator.
1.1ABriefIntroductiontotheCompany
Thetranslationcompanywherewetookpartininternshipinthesummerof2014isLan-bridgeGroupwhichwasincorporatedin2000inChengdu（thecapitalcityofSichuanProvince）.Basedonthestudyoflanguageinformationprocessingandtheapplicationsoflanguageinformationprocessingtechnology,itisanewlanguageinformationserviceproviderinthenewageofInternet.Thiscompanyhaseightbranchofficesinseveralbigcitiesthroughoutthecountryandtwoabroad（Shanghai,Guangzhou,Xi'
an,Zhengzhou,Beijing,Kunming,Chongqing,Chengdu）.Itsbusinesscoversalargerangeoffields:
translation,interpretation,simultaneousinterpretation,interpreteroutsourcing,languagetraining,terminologymanagement,languagetechnology,localizedandinternationalizedservice.Adheringtoitsphilosophy "

1.2MainTasksandResponsibilitiesofInternStudent
Accordingtoarrangementmadebyouruniversity,theMTIstudentsworkedastraineesinJuly2014inLan-bridgeGroupinChengdu.Duringthatperiod,wehadtomasteressentialtranslationskillsandweb-basedtermsearchskills.WelearnedtohandletheambiguouspointintheSL（SourceLanguage）delicatelyinordertoproduceanaccurateandfaithfulTL（TargetLanguage）.Asprofessionaltranslators,weshouldmanagetoavoidomissions,mistranslationandover-translationandusethespecifictermsoftheoriginaltexttodotranslation.SubmittingaqualifiedTT（TargetText）withinthetimelimitrequiredbythecustomersisthebasicresponsibilityfortranslators.
Astranslators,ourjobisbynomeansaneasyonesincethesourcelanguageisusuallynotourmothertongue.AsnativeChinesespeakers,wearenotgoodatChinese-Englishtranslation.Becausethetargetgroupsarefromtotallydifferentcultureswithdifferenttraditionsandcustoms,wehavetoconvertChinesetextsintoEnglishtextswithtotallydifferentstylesthatsuitthetargetlanguagestandards.ThinkinginEnglishisthekeypoint.Sometimes,weneednecessaryadditionomissionandreorganizationinthesourcelanguageandatthesametimeweshouldguaranteethefaithfulnessofthetargetlanguage.
Atthebeginningoftheinternship,weweregivensomebasicinformationaboutthecompany,includingthecompany'
sbusinessscopeandoperationprocess,withoutwhichwewouldmeetwithmuchmoredifficultyinthecomingwork.Afterthatthedirectordividedourcourseintotwoparts:
atranslationtheorycourseandapracticecourse.Theformerincludesinterpretation,translationandhowtousetheweb-basedtermsearchskillsaswellasthetranslationsoftwaretotranslatefaster;
forthelatter,everyoneofourteamwasassignedsometextsandthesehadtobefinishedwithinatimelimit.
Everymorning,welearnedtranslationskillsandtranslationsoftware,suchasTRADOSandABBYYIntheafternoon,wepracticedwhatwehadlearned.AlltheMTIstudentswereassignedtothequalitydepartment.Wehadgroupsone,twoandthreeandeachgrouphaditsowntaskwhichhadtobefinishedinatimelimit.Practicemakesperfectandtheaimwasthatweshouldperfectourselves.Afterwesubmittedourwork,theprofessionalscorrecteditandthengaveitbacktous.Thiswastomakeusrealizethedifferencebetweenourworkandthereferenceversionandmakeprogressintranslating.Attheend,therewasadailysummaryofthework.Inabriefmeetingwewouldtalkaboutwhatwehaddoneduringtheday,whatwehadlearnedandwhatweneededtoimprove.Italsoincludedourteamleader'
scommentsonourperformanceandlastlywewouldgetascorefortheday.

WiththedevelopmentofComputerTechnology,today'
stranslationhasbeenmovingawayfromthetraditionaltranslationmodel,namelytranslatewithpaperandpenortranslatedirectlyinMicrosoftWord.However,translationreliesmoreandmoreonthemoderntechnologies.Whetherwecollectmaterialsortranslatewordbyword,wecannotmeettherequirementsofspeedandqualityifweonlydependonhumantranslation.Today'
stranslationindustryissupposedtobeawin-winsituationintranslationspeedandtranslationquality.Thismeansthatweshouldcompleteacertainnumberoftranslatedtextswithinthestipulatedperiodoftimeinordertomeettheincreasingmarketdemand.Especiallyinthemodementerprises,theyhavehigherrequirementsintranslationsoftwareandtranslationtechnology.Thousandsormillionsofpassagescannotbetranslatedinablinkofaneyeasapieceofpapercanbecompletedinashorttime.
InLan-bridgeGroupwemainlylearnedtwosoftware,oneisTRADOS2006,andtheotherisABBYYFineReader.TRADOSiscurrentlythemostwidelyusedandmosteffectivetranslationsoftwareinthetranslationmarket.ThedirectorofthequalitydepartmentofthecompanyhasmadeanintroductiontoTRADOS2006anditscoretechnology TM（translationmemory）.
