5.宾语从句:
否定的转移
有些表示思想和感情的动词之后的宾语从句中的否定式可以注意到这些动词之前。

tusedtothisdiet. 我想你不习惯这种饮食。
Ididn'
texpectshewouldpasstheentranceexamination.=Iexpectedshewouldn'

6.虚拟语气:
宾语从句
一些含有假设、猜想、建议等意思的动词后面的宾语从句要用should+原形动词结构,should往往可以省略。
这类动词有:
advice,arrange,command,demand,desire,insist,order,propose,require,request,suggest等。
Isuggestedthathestudyharder.我建议他用功一些。
(这一题要特别注意:
为什么study用原形。

Iinsistedthathe(should)go.我强调他应当去。
7.宾语从句的省略
引导宾语从句的that之后接的从句不长时,可以省略。
如果that后面的宾语从句较长时,that不能省略。
Ihope(that)you'
llbefinesoon.我希望你尽快康复。
宾语从句的时态变化
宾语从句的时态
(1)若主句是一般现在时、一般将来时或祈使句时,宾语从句根据句子的意义使用需要的时态。
如:
Wedon’tknowwhohasbrokenthewindow.Butwewillfindoutwhohasdonethat.
Pleasetellmewherewewillgo.
(2)若主句是一般过去时,宾语从句要用相应的某种过去时态,如一般过去时、过去进行时、过去将来时或过去完成时。
Hesaid:
I’mastudent.-----Hesaidthathewasastudent.
Theteacherasked:
WhatisMikedoing?
-----TheteacheraskedwhatMikewasdoing.
(3)若宾语从句叙述的是客观真理或永恒不变的规律,则应采用一般现在时,不受主句时态的限制。
Ourteachersaidthattheearthmovesroundthesun.
(2)宾语从句的语序:
在复合句中,宾语从句部分要用陈述语序。
(1)陈述句作由that引导的宾语从句时,语序不用调整。
(2)一般疑问句作宾语从句时,其结构为whether/if+陈述句。
原一般疑问句的主语前如果是助动词do/does/did,应去掉,谓语动词应改为其相应的形式;
原一般疑问句的主语前如果是don’t/doesn’t/didn’t,则直接将其放到主语之后;
原一般疑问句的主语前如果是be动词、情态动词或其他助动词,则应将其放到主语之后。

(3)特殊疑问句作宾语从句时,如果疑问词作主语或主语的定语,其语序不用变化;
如果疑问词充当其他句子成分,则宾语从句的结构为连接代词/连接副词+陈述句。

Iwanttoknow.-----Iwanttoknowwhocananswerthequestion.
(3)Whosebookisonthedesk?
Weallknow.-----Weallknowwhosebookisonthedesk.

宾语从句的引导词
(1)陈述句作宾语从句引导词用that。
that在从句中不充当任何句子成分,无实际意思,在口语或非正式文体中常省略。
Hesaid(that)itwascoldinMoscow.Motherknows(that)Jimwillworkhard.
(2)一般疑问句作宾语从句引导词用whether或if。
whether或if表示“是否、是不是”的意思,不能省略。
Iwanttoknowif/whethertheanswerisright.Lucyaskedif/whethertheyhadacheapershirt.
(3)特殊疑问句作宾语从句引导词用原来的疑问词,只不过在宾语从句中称作连接代词或连接副词。
连接代词或连接副词在从句中充当一定的句子成分,有一定的意思,不能省略。
