sIndustrialarea.Usuallyyouonlyneed2cuttings,oneforheadandoneforthetailbutyoucandoublethemup.Traditionally,themoreflamboyanttheheadbands,themoreimportantthebookwas,plusitdrawsattention.Theheadbandshouldbejustenoughtowraparoundthespineofthebooksnuggly.

Spreadtheglueevenlyoverthewholespine,pushtheglueintothecrackswiththebonefolderandyourfingers.

OncethegluebecametackyIgrabbedmyfirstlayerofmullandrubbeditin,thenaddedanotherlayerofglueontopofthat

Takingsofftheweightquickly,Ifoldedtheedgesinandputthenewlayerofmullonfollowedbymoreglue.

Nowgluetheheadbandson,withglueunderneathandontop.Ifyouwantabookmark,glueitdownthespineabout2inchesbetweenthemullandtheheadbands.

Oknowfinallywhileitsallstillwet,getyourcartridgepaperandcutoutastripthenglueoverthetop(Yesmakesurethegrainisgoingthecorrectway).Feelfreetomakeamess,userandompaper,orwritemessagesonthespine,noonewilleverseeit,exceptmaybeabookbinderin100yearstimerestoringthebook,butIdoubtthatwilleverhappen.
