@#@@#@Today,educationhasbecomeapriorityformanyparentsseekingtosecureagoodfuturefortheirchildreninthisrapidlychangingworld.Theybelievethatiftheirchildrenapplythemselvesandworkhardatschool,thentheywillincreasetheiropportunitiesforgoingtohighereducationandeventuallygettingagoodjob.Ofcourse,theyareright,andasaccesstothebesteducationandbestjobsisbecomingmorecompetitive,thenitistruethatchildrenhavetomakethebestoftheirstudytimewhentheyareyoung.@#@However,theparentswhodonotallowtheirchildrensufficientfreetimeforleisureactivitiesoutsideschoolhoursaremisguided.Suchactivitiesarefarfrombeingawasteoftimeforthechildrensimplybecausetheyarenotacademic.Itisimportanttorememberthatchildrenneedtodevelopskillsotherthanintellectualones,andthebestwaytodothisisthroughactivitiessuchassports,gamesandplayingwithotherkids.Iftheycannotplaymake-believegames,howcantheydeveloptheirimagination?

@#@@#@Themannerinwhichchildrenspenttheirfreetimevariesgreatlyfromonetoanother.Itisarguedthatpupilsshouldbeinvolvedintaskswhicharerelatedtoeducationinthisperiod.However,Ibelievethatutilisingspareintervalperformingphysicalactivitiesandwatchingtelevisionwillhelprecuperatetheirhealthandconcentration.Tobeginwith,youngpeoplearerequiredtoperformbodymovementsforimprovingtheirphysicalabilities.Agoodillustrationforthisistheactivityplannedintheschooltimetablewhichalwaysincludesomeperiodsdedicatedtosports.Asaresult,theyareforcedtogetinvolvedintheactivitieswhichrequiremotionresultinginmaintainingtheirfitnesslevel.Thus,itisapparentthatdoingsuchexerciseswillcontributetowardsthephysicaldevelopmentofachild.Inaddition,continuousfocustowardsstudiescanresultintheproblemsrelatedtotheconcentration.Forinstance,ifastudentisaskedtoperformaneducationaltaskinhisextratimealso,therearechancesthathemightstartfeelingfrustratedwithstudies.Instead,ifheutilisesthisspanforwatchingtelevision,hecanfeelrelaxedandthereby,hewillbemoreattentivewhenhestartslearningagain.Therefore,itisobviousthatsuchbreakswillhelpthemtoenhancetheattentionlevel.Inconclusion,gettingengrossedinactivitiesotherthaneducationnotonlyhelpstoimprovethehealthbutalsofostersthementalfitness.Thus,thisclearlydebunkstheideathatpupilsshouldonlyperformtaskswhichaimtowardstheacquisitionofknowledgeinordertoavoidwastingtime.Itisexpectedthatparentswillbemadeawareoftheadvantagesofspendingfreemomentsdoingothertasksforthechildrenintheforeseeablefuture.@#@ModelAnswer3:

@#@@#@Inthepast,childrenhadmoreleisuretimetodovarioustypesofactivitiessuchasplayinggames,walkingintheparksandgossipingwithothers.But,nowtheyhavenofreetimeduetothefactthatthisworldisbecomingmorecompetitiveintermsofeducationalactivities.WhileIcogitatethatthispolicyhassomebenefits,Ibelievethatchildrenshouldallowusingtheirfreetime,andithasmoreadvantages.Ontheonehand,therearesomeeffectiveconveniencestothestudentlifewhentheywilloccupywithstudyinsteadofwastingtimebyplaying,walking,andgossiping.Firstly,byspendingtimewitheducationalactivitiesisoneofthesignificanttrendsbecausestudentscanincreasetheirknowledgewiththishabit.Thiscouldresultimmenseadvantagestothestudentswhenevertheywillconfronttheirfuturelife.Secondly,insomecountries,itisnoteasytogetadmittedincollegesoruniversitieswithoutsoundacademicresults.Sostudentswhowanttobeapartoftertiaryeducationinthesecountriesneedtolearnwhenevertheygetanytime.Forinstance,manycountrieslikeSudanhavefewuniversitiesalthoughtheyhaveavastnumberofstudents.Fromtheaboveexplanation,itisapparentthatchildrenshouldutilisetheirtimeproperly.@#@Ontheotherhand,itcanbearguedwhykidsrequirefreetimetospendtheirownways.Oneimportantpointisthatthechildren,whoexpendtheirleisuretimewithplayandotherextracurricularactivities,theycanimprovetheirmentalaswellasphysicalgrowth.Asanexample,ifthestudentsplaycricketandfootball,theycanlearnleadership,responsibility,andsoon.Anotherimportantpointisthatthepracticalknowledgeofthestudentswillincreaseiftheyinvolvewithsomeextracurricularactivities.Asanexample,manyfamousscientistslikeEinsteinwasalwaysengagingwithextracurricularactivitiesratherthanstudying.Thisexamplemakesitexplicitthatchildrenshouldpermittousefreetimeinordertoincreasetheirintelligence.@#@Inconclusion,itisconsequentialthatchildrenneedtoplaybesidesthestudyinordertoincreasetheirbasicknowledge.Ideemthatstudentsshouldbestowsomefreetimetousetheirownwaythatwouldbeaugmentedtotheirbrightfuture.@#@ModelAnswer4:
