Thebookisquiteinteresting.Iaminterestedinthebookverymuch.
TheplayismoreexcitingthananyIhaveeverseen.
Thatpieceoflandlaydeserted.
1)Havingbeenservedlunch,_________.
[A]theproblemwasdiscussedbythemembersofthecommittee
[B]thecommitteemembersdiscussedtheproblem
[C]itwasdiscussedbythecommitteememberstheproblem
[D]adiscussionoftheproblemwasmadebythemembersofthecommittee(B)
2)_______forheranthropological(人类学的)research,MargaretMeadalsowasinvolvedwith(涉及)theWorldFederationforMentalHealth.
[A]Sheisnotedprimarily
[B]Notedprimarily
[C]Primarilyisnoted
[D]Sheprimarilynoted(B)
3)ConsideredoneoftheleadingpoetsinAmericatoday,___________.
[A]anumberofbooksandplayshavealsobeenwrittenbySoniaSanchez
[B]SoniaSanchezhasalsowrittenanumberofbooksandplays
[C]anumberofSoniaSanchez'sbooksandplayshavebeenwritten
[D]therehavebeenanumberofbooksandplayswrittenbySoniaSanchez(B)
3.作定语时,①-ING分词表示正在进行的动作,而-ED分词表示动作发生在谓语动词之前;
Identifyandcorrect:
1)Theboiled[A]pointofanyliquid[B]isdetermined[C]bythepressure[D]ofthesurroundinggases.将boiled改成boiling
2)High-grade[A]written[B]paperisfrequently[C]obtained[D]fromcottonrags.
将written改成writing
3)Scientists[A]stillcannotfind[B]anyconvinced[C]linkbetweenintelligence[D]andthequantityorqualityofbraincells.将convinced改成convincing
解析:
1)A错。
“boilingwater(waterwhichisboiling.)”意思是“开水”,意即“正在开着的水”,而“boiledwater(waterwhichhasbeenboiled.)”
asurprisingman(使人惊讶的人),asurprisedman(被惊吓了的人)
Iwasbornin1966./Hisborneresponsibilitytothewholeworkersofthefactoryisreallygreat.
fallenleaves(落叶),afull-blownrose(盛开的玫瑰),escapedprisoners(逃犯),theexplodedbomb,herdeceased(已故的)husband,theretiredworkers,thevanishedjewels,thenewlyarrivedvisitors,thereturnedstudents,therisensun.
gone,come,arrived,fallen,retired,startled,vexed(烦恼的),mistaken等。
①Herfeverisgone,butshestillfeelsweak.
②Ishallbevexedifyoukeepmentioningit.
③Theinterviewerwasquitemistakenabouttheincidentswhichhappenedinthecampus.
①Allthebookswerecarriedtothelibrary.
②SeveralstudentswerehonoredfortheirexcellentperformanceintheEnglishcontest.
③Thebookisnotillustrated(有插图的).(系表)
amused,broken,closed,confused,crowded,covered,done,delighted,frightened,bent,blessed,bound,drunk,lit,melted,rotten,shaved,shrunk,sunk,believed,burnt,excited,faded,married,interested,pleased,satisfied,surprised等。
about,at,in,on,with,over,to等。
例如:
I'minterestedinmyownhobbies,suchascollectingstamps,raisingbirdsandfishing.(系表)
Iwasinterestedbywhatyoushowedme.(被动)
Thepeoplepresentatthemeetingwereannoyedwiththetediousspeech.(系表)
Thepeoplewhowantedtoattendthemeetingweresurprisedbytheannouncementoftheadjournment(休会/延期)withoutday.(被动)
Herlookwasquiteamused.
Afterworkingthewholemorning,wewereverytired.
Ishallbemuchobliged(感激的)toyouforanearlyreply.(系表)
Someonebreaksthewindow.)
Wehavemadealotofcarssinceweadoptedthetechnicalinnovations.)
become,get,turn,sound,rest[保持(状态)],lie,look,keep,remain,seem,appear等。
例如:
Youmayrestassuredthateverythingpossiblewillbedone.
Heappearedperplexed(困惑的)atthethoughtofthefuture.
)
-ED分词结构作状语,前边往往可以加when,while,if,asif,though。
1)Inaugurated(就职)asecondtimeonMarch4,1901,____focusedondomesticratherthanforeignpolicies.
[A]WilliamMcKinley’snewtermlookedforwardtoand

[A]beinglost[B]havinglost[C]losing[D]lost(D)

-ED分词可以在see,hear,notice,watch,find,get,have,feel,make,leave,keep等词后与一名词或代词构成复合宾语,用作宾语补语。
如:
Whenwillyougotothehospitalandhaveyourtoothexamined?
Whenyouaremakingaspeech,youshouldspeakloudertomakeyourselfheard.
Oneoftheglasseswasfoundbroken.
Theyshouldbekeptinformedofthesituationthere.
1)Commercialbanksmakemostoftheirincomefrominterest_____onloansandinvestmentsinstocksand
