"We'lltalkasweclimb,"Jimsaid."Youcantellmethenewjokesyou'veheardandwhenwegettomyapartmentI'lltellyouastory."Hisfriendsagreedandtheystartedtoclimbthefortyflightsofstairs.AtlasttheyreachedthetopfloorandwerestandingoutsidethedoorofJim'sapartment.

"Nowtellusagoodstory,"hisfriendssaid.

Jimlookedatthemsadlyandsaid,"Onceuponatimetherewasamanwhomettwofriends.Heinvitedthemtohisapartmentonthefortiethfloor.Theelevatorwasn'tworkingandtheyhadtoclimbfortyflightsofstairs.Whentheyreachedthefortiethfloorheputhishandinhispocketforthekeytothedoorofhisapartment.Itwasn'tthere.Thenherememberedwhereitwas.Itwasinhiscar."
