Thecodeservestoestablishtheminimumrequirementsforfiresafetyprovisions.TheCodespecifiesconstruction,occupancyandprotectionfeaturesthatarenecessarytominimizedangertolifeandpropertyfromfire.Ittakesintoaccountthefunction,design,management,operation,andmaintenanceofbuildingstosecurethelifesafetyofoccupantsintheeventofafire.Thiscodeofpracticeshallbecalled“MyanmarFireServicesCodeofPractice”.

本规范旨在确定消防安全规定的最低要求。

本规范规定了尽量减少火灾对生命和财产造成危险的建筑、占用和保护功能。

本规范考虑了建筑物的功能、设计、管理、运营和维护，以保障发生火灾时居住者的生命安全。

本规范称为“缅甸消防规范”。

Thatportionofameansofegresssystemwhichisseparatedfromotherinteriorspacesofabuildingorstructionandopeningprotectivesasrequiredtoprovideaprotectedpathofegresstravelbetweentheexitaccessandtheexitdischarge.Exitsincludeexteriorexitdoorsatgroundlevel,exitenclosures,exitpassageways,exteriorexitstairs,exteriorexitrampsexits.

与建筑物或结构的其他内部空间分隔的出口系统及在出口通道和出口场地之间提供出口保护路径所需开口保护系统的一部分。

出口包括地面外部出口门、出口围栏、出口通道、外部出口楼梯、外部出口坡道。

ExitAccess

Thatportionofameansofegresssystemthatleadsfromanyoccupiedportionofabuildingorstructuretoanexit.

从建筑物或构筑物任何占用部分通向某一出口的出口设施系统部分。

ExitDischarge

出口场地

Thatportionofameansofegresssystembetweentheterminationofanexitandapublicway.

出口终点和公众通道之间的疏散通道系统部分。

Areaofrefuge

Anareawherepersonsunabletousestairwayscanremaintemporarilytoawaitinstructionsorassistanceduringemergencyevacuation.

在紧急疏散时，无法使用楼梯的人员可暂时停留并等待指示或协助的区域。

Corridor

Anenclosedexitaccesscomponentthatdefinesandprovidesapathofegresstraveltoanexit.

Theactualoccupiedareanotincludingunoccupiedaccessoryareassuchascorridors,stairway,toiletroom,mechanicalroomsandclosets.

Handrail

Ahorizontalorslopingrailintendedforgraspingbythehandforguidanceorsupport.

Thenumberofpersonsforwhichthemeansofegressofabuildingorportionthereofisdesigned.

Acontinuousandunobstructedpathofverticalandhorizontalegresstravelfromanyoccupiedportionofabuildingorstructuretoapublicway.Ameansofegressconsistsofthreeseparateanddistinctparts:

theexitaccess,theexitandtheexitdischarge.

从建筑物或构筑物任何占用部分通往公众通道的垂直和水平出口行进段的连续和无障碍路径。

Anystructureforwhatsoeverpurposeandofwhatsoevermaterialsconstructedandeverypartthereofwhetherusedashumanhabitationornotandincludesfoundation,plinth,walls,floors,roofs,chimneys,plumbingandbuildingservices,fixedplatforms,VERANDAH,balcony,corniceorprojection,partofabuildingoranythingaffixedtheretooranywallenclosingorintendedtoencloseanylandorspaceandsignsandoutdoordisplaystructures.Tents,tarpaulinshelters,etcerectedfortemporaryandceremonialoccasionswiththepermissionoftheAuthorityshallnotbeconsideredasbuilding.

无论用于何种目的或使用何种材料建造或其每一部分是否用于人类居住的任何结构且包括地基、基底、墙壁、地板、屋顶、烟囱和建筑设备、固定平台、走廊、阳台的任何结构；

建筑物的飞檐或突出部分、部分或附于其的任何物或任何封闭围墙或者用于围住任何土地或者空间和标牌和户外显示屏结构。

经主管机构许可，在临时和仪式场所搭建的帐篷、油布棚等不得视为建筑物。

EmergencyLighting

Acompletebutdiscreteemergencylightinginstallationfromthestandbypowersourcetotheemergencylightinglamp（s）,forexample,self-containedemergencyluminairesoracircuitfromcentralbatterygeneratorconnectedthroughwiringtoseveralescapeluminaries.

Thetimethatamaterialorconstructionwillwithstandthestandardfireexposureasdeterminedbyfiretestdoneinaccordancewiththestandardmethodsoffiretestsofmaterials/structures.

根据材料/结构标准防火测试方法进行的防火测试确定的材料或结构能够承受标准火灾强度的时间。

Fireresistanceisapropertyofanelementofbuildingconstructionandisthemeasureofitsabilitytosatisfyforastatedperiodsomeorallofthefollowingcriteria:

a）resistancetocollapse,

b）resistancetopenetrationofflameandhotgases,and

EducationGroupEoccupancyincludes,amongothers,theuseofabuildingorstructure,oraportionthereof,bysixormorepersonsatanyonetimeforeducationalpurposesthroughthe12thgrade.Religiouseducationalroomsandreligiousauditoriums,whichareaccessorytoplaceofreligiousworshipandhaveoccupantloadsoflessthan100,shallbeclassifiedasA-3occupancies.

E类教育占用建筑包括（但不限于）：

在任何时间，由6人或更多人利用建筑物或结构或其部分进行高三教育目的。

人载量不足100的宗教教室和宗教礼堂等宗教崇拜场所应归为A-3类占用建筑。

*Daycare.Theuseofabuildingorstructure,orportionthereof,foreducational,supervisionorpersonalcareservicesformorethanfivechildrenolderthan2½

yearsofage,shallbeclassifiedasaGroupEoccupancy.

*日常护理当建筑物或结构或其部分用于为超过5个孩子（2.5岁以上）提供教育、监督或个人护理服务时，这类区域应归为E类占用建筑。
