Amongthosecharactersinthisnovel,IhateMrs.Bennetforshewassuchasnobbishandfoolishwoman.Herpoornurseurgedhertodosomethingdisgustingandfoolish.Thoseseemedtohelpherloveddaughtersbutinfact,alloutofherownvanity.IlikeElizabethmost.ShewastheseconddaughterintheBennetfamily,andthemostintelligentandquick-witted,ElizabethistheprotagonistofPrideandPrejudiceandoneofthemostwell-knownfemalecharactersinEnglishliterature.Heradmirablequalitiesarenumerous—sheislovely,clever,and,inanoveldefinedbydialogue,sheconversesasbrilliantlyasanyone.Herhonesty,virtue,andlivelywitenablehertoriseabovethenonsenseandbadbehaviorthatpervadeherclass-boundandoftenspitefulsociety.Nevertheless,hersharptongueandtendencytomakehastyjudgmentsoftenleadherastray;
