老师的嗓子哑了!

老师的嗓子都哑了!

”顿时整个教室安静了下来,孩子们都在自己的座位上端正地坐好,安静地看着我。

当我张开嘴让他们跟着我念单词时又有同学举手提议:

“老师,我们今天学唱英文歌吧!

我们能自己跟着磁带学,那样你的嗓子会好得快些,妈妈说嗓子哑了要少说话!

”多懂事的孩子,只知他们平时爱惹我生气,不知他们竟也知道关心我!

下课了,孩子们硬要把剥好的橘子塞进我的嘴里,说:

“老师吃了它吧!

吃了你的嗓子就会好了!

”在那一刻我感受到了三十多颗幼小的心灵对我的抚慰,感受到了他们对我的理解和支持,作为一名幼儿教师我心甘情愿了!

  去年十二月,我要教四个班的英语、要忙于迎接期末考试、要为教师文艺汇演紧张地排练、要为圣诞节英语晚会准备幼儿园和一年级的英语节目。

孩子们都还小,他们懂的英语实在是太少太少,我没法将台词写下来让他们自己去背,只能嘴对嘴的一字一词地教。

紧张的排练和不定时的加班几乎压垮了我,我真想甩手不干了。

有一天几遍排练下来后孩子们已经练得气喘吁吁了,我说:

“你们累了,就早点休息吧!

”可是没有一个孩子离开我,他们围在我身边仰着小脸恳切地说:

“老师,咱们再练一会儿吧!

我们不累!

真的,我们不怕累!

”看着孩子们汗津津的小脸,我突然感到自己是那么的软弱。

我说,你们不怕,老师也不怕,咱们一起练。

排练结束后,我和孩子们一起笑着闹着,心里感受到一种从未有过的轻松,我知道是孩子们帮助了我,鼓舞了我。

当我在台下看着他们成功的表演时,泪水再也忍不住地流了下来,作为一名人民教师爱的奉献是无尽的。

IwassoconfusedastolookintothemirrorthenextmorningtocheckifIcouldindeedseemyself.Onlynowasayoungwomanmyself,canIunderstandthatitwasnotphysicalvisibilitythatgrannyhadonhermind.

  Grannyspentallherlifetakingcareofthefamily,dayinanddayout.Shecookedforherhusbandand10children.Butwheneverguestscame,sheandotherfemalefamilymembershadtoeatbythestoveinthesmallkitchen.Atfamilydiscussions,shewasneveraskedforheropinion.Aftergrandpapassedaway,shehadtolistentomyuncle,hereldestson,fulfilledherdutyasdaughter,wife,andmother;

yetasaperson,sheremainedlittlenoticed.Eventhoughshecouldseeherselfinthemirrorofthedressingtable,shewasnevervisibleinthemirrorofsociety.

  Ihavebeenlivingadifferentlife.Athome,Imakedecisionstogetherwiththerestofthefamily.Inschool,Ioftentakechargeofvariousactivitiesthesameasotherboysandgirls.Notonlythat,Icanseesomethinggrannycouldnothavedreamedof─makingdecisionsformyownfuture.Mylifehasbeenaseriesofdecisions.IcouldchoosefromseveraluniversitiesasIcameoutofhighschool.Atuniversity,IcouldchoosefromarangeofsubjectsfromEnglishliteraturetobusinesslaw.Andnowupongraduation,Iamagainfacedwithdecisions─tofurthermystudyortogotowork;

tostayinChinaortogoabroad;

togetmarriedrightawayortoremainsingleforabitlonger.

  ItdoesnotmatterwhetherornotIwillbecomefamousorrich,butIwilltreasurethechancetodemonstratemypotentialandtohelpotherwomendemonstratetheirsasfullmembersofsociety,fullyvisibleinthemirrorofhistory.IwilltreasureitbecausetheabundanceofchoicethatIenjoycameonlyafterdecadesofeffortsmadebymygranny,mymum,andmillionsofotherChinesewomen.

  However,thechoicestobemadebymeandothersofmygenerationareagreatchallenge.Themisconceptionthatmenaresuperiortowomenisstilldominatingmanypeoplesminds.Whilemenareencouragedtocompeteandtoassertthemselves,weareexpectedtobequiet,loyalandobedient.Thisisnotverydifferentfromwhatisexpectedofusasgoodwivesandgoodmothers.Thechallengewefacecallsforahigherlevelofourpersonaldevelopmentandself-determination.

  ThestoryofmygrandmotherandmyselfmirrorsthelivesofmillionsofotherwomeninChinaandperhapsintheworld.Manyofthemstillleadthelifeofmygrandmother.Theirworthisnotyetrecognized.Itistheresponsibilityofayoungpersonlikemetoworkhardandstrugglehardsothattheytoowillseethemselvesandwillbeseeninthemirrorofsociety.

  Thisismydream.Thisdream,Ibelieve,isnotonlysharedbyourgrandmothers,mothersandsisters,butalsobymanyofourfathers,brothers,husbandsandmalecolleagues.

  Itwillnotcometrueuntileveryonefullyrealizesthatwomencancontributetosocietyandshouldbeguaranteedtherighttodoso.Womenholduphalfthesky.

  Todaythetopicofmyimpromtuspeechisthatwhenitisdarkenough,youcanseethestars.Icantagreewiththissayingmore.Inmyopinion,Darknessisaboutthefrustrations.“enough”isabouttheeffortandthe“stars”arethehopes,dreamsorsuccess.Sothissayingteachesmethreethings:

makingmyobjectiveanddirectionclear,beingpreparedforwrestlingwithfrustrationsanddifficultiesandimportantly,keepinginfaith.So,Ihavethreepointstosupportmyopinion.

  First,weshouldmakeourobjectiveanddirectionclearbeforewesetout.Wecantseethestarsduringthedaytime.Isitbecausethattherearenostarshere?

Ofcausenot.Thestarsareoverthereintheskyallthetime.Wecantseethembecausetheyarehiddenbehindthesunlignt.So,weshouldnotwasteourtime.Rather,weshouldturntothenighttofindourstars.Sobeforewesetoutforourdreams.Itsveryimportanttoknowwhatexactlywewantandwhichdirectiontogotofindit.

  Second,weshouldbepreparedforwrestingwithfrustrationsanddifficulties.Wecantexpectthatthewaytoourobjectivearesmoothandeasy.Inthedarkness,wemayfeelcold,lonelyandbeafraidofsomeunexpectedfrustrations,justasonthewaytoourdreamsandsuccess.But,onlyindarknesscouldweseethestars.Similarly,onlybyexperiencingharshipsandsetbackscanwebeclearaboutourgoalsandobjectives.So,weshouldbenotafraidofthedifficultieswehavetoexperience.Rather,weshouldholdapositiveattitudetofullypreparedforthem.

  Thelastbutnottheleastpointisthatweshouldkeepinfaithanddontgiveup.Sometimewemayfeeldisappointedafterhavingbeenworkinghardforsuchalongtimebutstillcantreachourdreams.But,weshouldntgiveupandinsteadweshouldjustkeepinfaith.Maybeoureffortsarenotenough.Weneedtoworkhardandkeepwaitingforalittlebitlonger,andwewillseethehopesoon.

  Toconclude,ifwechoosethestars,weshouldbeawarethatwechoosethedarkness,too.ifwewanttoenjoythestars,makeeveryeffortswecantodefeatourfeartothedarknessandkeepinfaithonourselves.Intheend,wewillsurlyseeourownstars.

  尊敬的各位领导、各位老师:

  大家下午好!

  首先感谢区教研室的领导给我一次与大家交流的机会。

在座的各位毕业班英语老师都是经验非常丰富的,在大家面前来谈英语教学的经验实在是惭愧。

为了提高英语教学质量,我的确是想了很多的办法,这里面有成功带来的喜悦,也有失败带来的反思。

这些谈不上经验,现简单地做个介绍,如有不当之处,敬请各位批评指正。

  记得刚刚走上工作岗位的我曾经信心百倍,认为小学英语教学应该是很简单的事情,不就是听、说、读、写嘛,没什么难的,但真正开始教学,真正开始接触学生之后,我才感觉到:

小学英语教学尤其是我们农村学生的英语教学真是坎坷难行。

教学一开始我就遇到了种种问题。

有一大部分学生在潜意识里根本没有把英语当一回事,有些学生甚至有抵触的情绪。

从家庭上看,我们的学生家庭大部分属于农村家庭,英语没有被受到重视,再加上家长能听懂英语的少之又少,更别说辅导了。

从环境上来看,学生除了课堂上短短的40分钟外,基本上就没有使用英语的环境了,放学后听英语磁带的作业也有大部分学生不能自觉完成,再加上英语课课时较少,因此我的英语教学开展得并不顺畅。

面对如此多的问题,我决定从学生的学习兴趣、学习方法和学习习惯方面去入手解决。

现想从我的切身体会谈几点做法及建议:
