Stowedecidedtomakepeopleunderstandthatslaverywasverybad.Eachnightafterputtingrsixchildrentobed,sheworkedonherbook.Shetoldtheowner.Shealsotoldhowtheslavestriedtorunawayforfreedom.UncleTom’sCabinfirstcamein1852.Over300,000booksweresoldoutinayear.
