Thedevelopmentalsoincludes18,000m²ofbelowgroundretailwith1,400parkingbays.

Theoverallplanfeaturesanenvironmentcomplementarytotheadjacentriverandpark.Benoyisworkingwithlandscapedesignersandparkdesignspecialists,tofacilitatealfrescoentertainmentandF&Binaparkontheeasternsideofthesite.

Benoy,internationalawardwinningArchitects,Masterplanners,InteriorandGraphicDesigners,aredelightedtoannouncethegrandopeningofthedynamicINDIGOdevelopmentintheheartoftheChaoyangdistrictofBeijing.

Bydeliveringthemasterplan,architectureandinteriorarchitectureanddesignforallaspectsofthisnewretailledmixed-usedevelopment,Benoyhasachievedacompositionthatinjectsvitalityintothe175,000m²businessandleisuredestination.Thisincludes68,000m²ofretail,the369roomEASThotel（duetoopenQ42012）andthe25-storey,58,000m²GradeAofficetower,surroundedbyauniqueparksetting.

Theprojecthasbeeninspiredinconceptbyitsuniquesetting.Astunning17hectareparkislocatedtotheeastofthedevelopment,whichiscounter-balancedbytheurbancityscapelyingtothewest.ThisconnectionoftwodifferentbutreflectivesidesoftheChaoyangdistricthasbeenakeyelementofthedesignprocess.Benoyhaveensuredafluidtransitionacrossthesedifferingbutcomplimentaryaspectsofthescheme.

Connectingtheopposingsidesseamlessly,theretailpodiumisdesignedwiththeurbansidesituatedonthewest.Styledwithasleekurbancorporateelementitmirrorsitslandscapeperfectly.

Theeastwing,facingthepark,hasbeeninterspersedthroughoutwithorganicandholisticelementsagainreflectingitsenvironment.Ensuringthisseamlesstransitionfromurbanenvironmenttothenaturalside,oneuniquespacethathasbeencreatediscalledthe‘WinterGarden’.

TheWinterGardenhasbeenconceivedasamulti-functionaleventspace.Withafloorareaof2,300m²and33mheightcoveredbyaspectacularfreeformmonocoqueroofcablenetstructureglazingwall,theintricatedetailingininfusedtogivethisspaceitshightechultra-modernoutlook.
