Beingmildlyinterestedinthatgirl,Ijumpedatthechancetoplayhero.Thetripwasnotparticularlongorarduous.Iwastopickherupfromafriend’shomethatwasamere80milesfromcampus，apieceofcake,Isaidtomyself.

Everythingwentwell.Thecountryroadwasalmostdeserted.VisibilitywasgoodandIwasnotdrivingveryfast.Theconversationwaslivelybutnotdistracting.
