Theresearchersdiscoveredthatbirdsprefertoflyclosetomembersoftheirownspecies,andthatthelargerandmoredominantrookstaketheleadbyflyingnearthefrontofflocks.Additionally,thelifelong,monogamous(一妻一夫制的)pairbondsthatarecharacteristicofbothspeciesseemtobereflectedinflight,asbirdsoftenflyparticularlyclosetoasingle,samespeciespartner.
