从口试的形式可以看到，考官会着重考查同学们的交际能力，而不是简单的一问一答的机械对话。
具体而言，考官将会在流利程度（fluency），语法（grammar），词汇（vocabulary），语音（pronunciation）4个方面对同学们进行打分，4项比重也相当，所以想过级不能“瘸腿”。
在三一口语考试中取得好成绩固然离不开实力，但了解三一口语的出题形式并进行有针对性的练习也是很重要的。
备考第一阶段的关键在于熟练和自然，考生应尽量熟悉该阶段的话题，并能针对每个题目自然而流畅地进行回答。
回答时切记不要只回答yes或no，或者给出很简短的答案，而要主动地去提供附加信息，以表示自己愿意并且能够进行交流。
