要表示某个地方的具体位置，往往使用方位介词，如：
nextto、between.and.、.at、on、near、behind、infrontof、beside等等。
如：
ItsbetweenGreenStreetandFoxStreet.在格林大街和福克斯大街之间。
TheRockefellerCenterStationisnearWest46thStreet.洛克菲勒中心站在西46街附近。

这是指路的常用表达，用来告诉问路人某个地方怎么走。
类似表达还有：
Godowntothecornerandturnleft.Gostraightfortwoblocksandthenturnright.一直走到头左拐，然后直走，过两个街区右拐。
Walkalong6thAvenueuntilyoufindtheRockefellerCenterStation.沿着第六大街直走，直到你找到洛克菲勒中心车站。
Takethesecondrightturnandthemuseumwillbeontheleft.在第二个路口右转，博物馆就在左边。
Notes,Youarewelcome.不用谢。
在英语口语中，当别人表达感谢时应表示“不客气，不用谢”。
类似的表达还有：
“Anytime.（别客气，随时愿为您效劳。
）”“Dontmentionit.（别和我见外。
）”,“Mypleasure（.,别客气，我很荣幸。
）”,“Noworries（.,没问题。
）”,“Notatall.（不用谢。
）”。
Focalpoint,祈使句（ImperativeSentence）,祈使句用于表达命令、请求、劝告、警告、禁止等要求，主语是第二人称，通常省略。
用于祈使句句首的动词总是用原形，不能用其他形式。
如：
“Shutthedoor!
（把门关上！
）”“Haveacupofcoffee!
（喝杯咖啡吧！
）”“Letthemgobytrain.（叫他们坐火车去吧。
）”。
构成祈使句否定式的方法很简单，那就是在动词原形前加dont。
如：
“Dontopenthewindow.（别把窗户打开。
）”。
对于以letus或lets开头的祈使句，其否定式如下：
“Letsnottellhimthetruth.（我们不要把实情告诉他。
）”。
Focalpoint,祈使句（ImperativeSentence）,为了加强祈使句的语气，我们通常是在祈使句的动词原形前加上助动词do，此时通常译为“一定”“务必”等。
如：
Dobecareful.（务必要小心。
）”“Dohavesomemoretea.（一定再喝点茶。
）”。
副词never和always也可用于祈使句句首，表示强调。
如：
“Neverdothatagain.（再不要这样做了。
）”。
为了使祈使句的语气变得委婉，我们可以在祈使句的句首或句末加上please。
如：
Stepthisway,please.（请这边走。
）”“Pleasetypeyourletter.（请把你的信打出来。
）”。
