IfChina’splanforthehigh-speedrailwaygoesforward,peoplecouldzipoverfromLondontoBeijinginundertwodays.

ThenewsystemwouldstillfollowChina’shigh-speedrailwaystandard.Andthetrainswouldbeabletogo346kilometersanhour,almostasfastassomeairplanes.

China’shigh-speedtrain,theoneconnectingWuhantoGuangzhou,alreadyhastheWorld’sfastestaveragespeed.Itcovers1,069kilometersinaboutthreehours.
