cv的撰写

　　cv是区别于ps的一个比较重要的东西，主要是把自己不能在ps里面详细提到的事件，经历等做一个“列表式”的展示。

　　个人觉得cv里面应该包含的大体内容如下：

　　然后根据个人情况的不同可以删减东西调整先后顺序，象gre和toefl成绩这种我就觉得没有必要写在上面。

另外需要注意的是，在展开以上每项的时候，切忌整块整块的内容堆在一起，而是用比较简洁清晰的框架就好。

总体感觉cv相对来说要比ps要好写一些。

cv一般都是打印在有自己学校校徽标志作为抬头的信纸上面，如果没有这种专用信纸的话也可以自己下载一个图标做一个在页眉上。

ps撰写注意事项

　　ps主要是用书面文字向别人展示你的经历，你的想法，学习目标，职业规划等等，在申请过程中的地位可见一般。

下面结合我自己在申请过程中写ps的过程谈一下我自己对ps的看法。

ps开头的问题

　　往往大家都会说ps的开头是最需要写的很吸引人的部分，所以很多人包括我自己在刚开始写ps的时候都陷入这个窘境，想着如何让评审委员在看到你的开头的时候会有眼前一亮的感觉。

一些很老旧的写法诸如引用名人名言之类的，我也曾经想过，但是这种想法仅仅是我对ps认识的入门级阶段，这种方法如果用的不好反而会带来相反的效果，让人觉得很反感。

　　我的ps开头经历了如下的过程：

　　这个开头是我最开始憋了好久才憋出来的，算是根据我的实情写的，现在来看我也不知道这个开头好不好，抛出来给大家讨论讨论，总之我最终是没有用这个。

　　后来用的是很普通但一目了然的一个开头，我觉得这个能很明了地阐述我的目的性，如下：

　　这个应该在某种程度上能吸引人的眼球吧，我觉得。

anyway，寻求最适合自己的方式才是最有效的!

ps主体的问题

　　我觉得展开ps主体最有效的方式就是说事儿，拣上几件自己觉得有意义、对自己未来发展有所贡献的事情介绍一下，可以说一篇ps的雏形基本上就有了。

剩下的就是怎样把事情表述清楚，以及你自己从中有何收益了。

　　针对不同阶层的人又有不同的写法，在我看来，主要有以下几种：

　　1.本科：

这个群体应该是占了申请人群中的大部分，而本科生主要还都是以课业为主，所以如果有比较好的科研经历的话，会很容易在ps上就比别人更胜一筹。

　　2.硕士：

硕士研究生在本科生的基础之上多了研究生阶段，当然也就应该多了所谓的研究经历，这个研究经历不管是自己给自己的导师做项目还是在外面单位实习，我觉得都应该在你的ps中占据很重要的一部分。

而且由于不同的人研究领域不同，侧重方向不同，所以这个将会成为你区别于别人，甚至说超越别人的重要法宝。

同时，有了这些研究经历之后，个人的未来发展方向和专业规划将会比较明朗。

　　3.毕业脱离学校的：

基于以上两个不同的群体，该群体里的人比他们要多的就是工作经历了，根据自己的特殊职位来为自己的ps增色添彩，那就是八仙过海各显神通了，我没经历过也就不敢多说。

个人觉得在写ps的时候，不要扯得太远了，从大学以后开始写就行了，小时候那种老掉牙的东西就不要写了。

　　结合我自己的情况，我是属于上述的第二种情况，在我的ps主题段落中，我从本科和研究生两个阶段分别做了一个presentation：

本科阶段主要是描述了和几个很要好的同学一起参加比赛的经历，从中得到的不仅仅是一纸奖励，更重要的是友情，合作等等;

研究生阶段主要描述了参与老师的课题，从中获得了如何对项目进行规划的经验还有很多专业技能等等。

ps结尾的问题

　　ps的结尾在我看来是从过去到将来的一个过渡和展望吧，简要介绍一下自己的近况，自己在学习工作基础之上对自己的未来有一个怎样的规划，自己申请去学校以后都研究些什么，自己在学有所成之后有怎样的职场打算等等，顺带可以吹吹所申请的学校，项目组以及自己的potentialacademicadvisor等等，嘿嘿~~

ps字数的问题

　　我觉得把ps写长还是相对来说比较容易的，按照我列出的雏形写上个三到五段，差不多也得有个1000字左右吧，嘿嘿!

然而不同的学校会有不同的要求，这样实际上有形无形地就把字数给限制住了。

　　比如asu的ece系对ps就有如下要求：

　　再比如purdue的ece系对ps也有要求：

　　总而言之，ps要想写好是需要花费很大心思的，写了改，改了再改，自己改，别人改，一直到一个大家都认为没有修改的余地为止;

另外，一定注意针对不同的学校撰写不同的ps。

　　留学申请信和奖学金申请信中须写明下列几点：
