Thereislaughsandtears,joyandsadnessinone’sgrowingdays.WhenIwasachild,Ihavenopainsbutmanybeautifuldreams.However,painsisalwaystogetherwithhappiness.Mygrowingpainsgetsmoreandmorewithage.Thepainsismainlyfrommystudy,mylifeandtherelationshipswithothers.

InSeptemberofthisyear,I’mveryproudtoenterintoJiaochuanMiddleSchool.Inthefirsttwoweeks,Ifeltexciting.Iwassocuriousabouteverything.However,thegrowingpainsisalsocomingafterwardsespeciallyinmystudy.Toomanyexercisesneedtobedone,toomanymaterialsneedtoberead.IfindIcan’tfinishthesequickly.SometimesIevencan’tkeepupwiththefastpaceofteaching.IfindI’mnolongerthetopstudentofprimaryschool,becausesomanyexcellentstudentsfromdifferentcitiescometoourschool.Thecompetitionofstudyissofierce.

NowI’mastudentinGradeSevenandI’mfacingmanypains.Tobehonest,Idon’tfeelhappysometimes.

WhenIwasachild,Iwasanadult,Iwouldn’thavetogotoschoolorhaveanytests.NowIdon’twanttogrowup.WhenIwasyoung,Iwascarefree.Icouldplayalldayfreely.IcoulddowhateverIfelllikedoing.However,somethinghaschanged.

Iamgrowingupgradually.Duringmygrowth,alotoftroublehasworriedme.Inschool,Ihavetolearnsomanylessonsanddolotsofhomework.I’moutofbreathbecauseoftheheavyburdenssometimes.Ialmosthavenotimetoplaywithmyfriends.Besides,Ihavemyownideasandwaysofdoingthings,whichcausessomanyargumentsbetweenmyparentsandme.

Iwanttoreturntomychildhood,whenIwayscarefree,withoutsomuchhomework,orsomuchtrouble.However,nomatterwhathappensinourgrowth,wemusthaveapositiveattitude.Everydayisnewday!

Weallmeetalotoftroublewhenwegrowup.Parentsandteachersalwaysmakemanystrictrulesforus.Unluckily,itisanimpossiblemissiontofollowallofthem,thoughwetryreallyhard.That’swhywefeelconfusedandupset.

Once,IplayedhideandseekwithmyfriendLucyinmyhome.Withaloudbang,Lucybrokemother’sfavoritevasebyaccident.Whenmymothersawit,shesmiledtoLucyandsaid,“Don’tworry.I’llbuyanewone.”Ithoughtthatwastheendofthestory.Howkindshewas!

ButIwaswrong.WhenLucyleft,motheraskedmeangrily,“WhydidyoutakeherthereYoushouldhaveknownwhatwouldhappenifyouplaythere.”Iargued,“ButitwasLucywhobrokeit.”Ididn’tunderstandwhymotherwasmuchstricterwithmethananyoneelse.
