Thuptenisa10-year-oldboypartiallysightedinoneeyeandblindintheother.Hisdoctorsaysthatthereisachancehecouldcompletelylosehissight,butthereisanoperationthatcouldoffera50percentchanceofsavinghisvision.

Histeacherfirmlysuggeststhatheshouldhavetheoperationrightaway,butThuptenisafraidandwantstoseetheworldbeforehislifeisplungedintototaldarkness.
