Xenobotsdon’tlookliketraditionalrobots—theyhavenoshinyclothingorroboticarms.Instead,theylookmorelikeatinydropofmovingpinkflesh.Theresearcherssaythisisdeliberate—thisbiologicalmachinecanachievethingstypicalrobotsofsteelandplasticcannotdo.“Traditionalrobotsdegrade(降解)overtimeandcanproduceharmfulecologicalandhealthsideeffects,”researcherssaidinthestudy.Asbiologicalmachines,xenobotsaremoreenvironmentallyfriendlyandsaferforhumanhealth,thestudysaid.
