　　However,differentpeoplehavedifferentattitudestowardsfailure.Somepeopleloseheartwhentheycomeacrossfailures.Theyseemtothinkthatitistheendoftheworld.Others,onthecontrary,don’ttakefailureseriously.Theyseemtothinkthatfailureisfirststeptosuccess.

　　Inmyopinion,whatreallycountsisnotfailureitself,butourattitudetowardsit.Ifweareafraidoffailureandyieldtoiteasily,weareboundtohaveonefailureafteranother.Butaslongaswehaveconfidenceinourselvesandlearnsomethingfromfailure,we’llcertainlygofromvictorytovictory.SoI’mneverafraidoffailure,orIfirmlybelievethat“failureisthemotherofsuccess.”

　　Competitionisaverycommonphenomenoninoursociallifetoday.Wecompetewhenweplaygames,wetrytodobetterthanothersinourstudyandthereisconstantcompetitionforjobs,fame,wealthandsoforth.Wecansay,tosomeextent,competitionisoneofthemotiveforceofthedevelopmentofsociety.

　　Weoftenfindcompetitionandcooperationoccurringatthesametime.Thinkofabasketballgame.Duringthegame,oneteamiscompetingagainsttheother,buteachmemberoftheteammustcooperatewithhisteammates.Inmostcases,wecan’tcompetewithoutcooperation.Thustheyareequallyimportant.

　Whileadvocatingcompetition,wecan’tforgetcooperation.Inmodernsociety,cooperationisespeciallyimportantbecausemostworkisfulfilledwithandthroughotherpeople.Sowemustcombinecompetitionwithcooperationtoobtainourgoals.

　　Moreover,keepingthecitycleanisnotaneasyjob.Wecancleanupthecityandkeepitcleantemporarily,butcanwekeepitcleanforgood?

　　Toprotecttheenvironment,governmentsofmanycountrieshavedonealot.Legislativestepshavebeenintroducedtocontrolairpollution,toprotecttheforestandsearesourcesandtostopanyenvironmentalpollution.Therefore,governmentsareplayingthemostimportantroleintheenvironmentprotectiontoday.

　　Inmyopinion,toprotectenvironment,thegovernmentmusttakeevenmoreconcretemeasures.First,itshouldletpeoplefullyrealizetheimportanceofenvironmentprotectionthrougheducation.Second,muchmoreeffortsshouldbemadetoputthepopulation.Finally’thosewhodestroytheenvironmentintentionallyshouldbeseverelypunished.Weshouldletthemknowthatdestroyingenvironmentmeansdestroyingmankindthemselves.

　　Everycoinhastwosides,sodoesadvertisement.Advertisementexertsbothpositiveandnegativeeffectsuponourlife.Inordertopromotetrade,businesspeopleengageinmakingtheirproductsknowntothepublicinthemostattractivewayssothatpotentialcustomersfinditeasiertochoosewhattheyaretopurchasewhenfacedwithshelvesofgoodsinthesupermarkets.However,advertisementsarenotalwaysreliable,assomedishonestbusinessmenexaggeratethefunctionsandqualitiesoftheirproducts.Customersmaybemisledanddeceived.Suchisoftenthecase,anditdoesharmtheinterestsofthecustomers.
