socks作名词意为“短袜”，是sock的复数形式，是成双成对的物品，一般以复数形式出现，
作主语时谓语动词用原形。
类似这样的词还有：
shorts（短裤），trousers（裤子），shoes（鞋），
glasses（眼镜），gloves（手套）等。
Thosesocksareblackandwhite.那双短袜是黑白相间的。
3.look的用法
（1）动词，表示“看”，单独使用时，后面不能接介词；反之，若后面接看的对象，必须接
介词at。

汽车来了。
LookatthemapofChina.看中国地图。
（2）作连系动词，意为“看起来”，后常接形容词。
Helooksveryhappy.他看起来很高兴。

这是把物品递给某人常说的一句话。
当我们购物或向别人借东西时，对方也常说Hereyouare.
“给你”。
当所给东西为单数时，还可以说Hereitis.

1、Howmuch引导的特殊疑问句
howmuch引导的特殊疑问句，可以用来询问商品的价格，意为“多少钱”，其结构为：
“How
much+be动词+其他.”。
如果询问的是单个商品，be动词用is，如果询问多个商品，be动词
用are。

二、形容词的基本用法
形容词是表示人或事物的性质、特征的一类词。
如big，white，interesting，difficult等。
在
句中一般作定语和表语。
1.形容词作定语
定语是修饰、限定某一名词或代词的部分。
形容词作定语，一般用在某个名词或代词之前，
起到修饰、限定该名词的作用。
Iwanttobuyagreenskirt.我想买一条绿色的短裙。
2.形容词作表语
表语是句中放在be动词及sound等连系动词后的部分，起到陈述主语性质、特征的作用。
形容词作表语同样放在句中be动词及sound等连系动词之后。

形容词在句中作定语或作表语是形容词最基本的用法。
