1.导入部分通过让学生观赏中央电台春节联欢晚会上机器人的精彩表演的视频，既让学生有了视觉上的冲击，同时又抛出本课的话题：
未来人们在家中会拥有自己的机器人吗？
学生讨论热烈，畅所欲言，效果良好。
2.设计的两个游戏让学生们在玩中学。
旨在鼓励学生多用本课所学的知识，让学生在用英语中体会英语的用法，同时可以看出学生对这个游戏很感兴趣，一些英语基础不是很好的学生也能说出自己对未来的预测，这是自己这节课最满意的教学环节。
3.竞赛活动一直贯穿整个教学过程，通过男生与女生之间的PK,让学生一直都很兴奋，紧张，学生参与教学的积极性很高。
4.整节课通过一系列图片来学习，让学生感觉易懂易掌握，尤其是在预测未来十年生活环节中，学生能够通过图片，在具体的情境中把学到的知识用起来，学以致用，学生会有成就感，会有更大的热情投入到英语学习中来。
不足之处：
课堂用语使用不够熟练和简练，因此与学生交流起来不是很顺畅，经常要辅之汉语。
使用注意事项：
课前要提前布置让学生思考一下自己对未来的预测，以便上课展示，表演。
