1、Welcome to PhotoModelerThis document describes the PhotoModeler, PhotoModeler Scanner and PhotoModeler Motion products. PhotoModeleris a Windows program that helps you extract measurements and 3D models from photographs. By using a camera as an input device, PhotoModeler lets you capture accurate de
2、tail in a short time. PhotoModeler Scanner has all the capabilities of PhotoModeler plus the ability to scan surfaces to extract dense point clouds. See Dense Surface Modeling / PhotoModeler Scanner for information on this product. PhotoModeler Motion has all the capabilities of PhotoModeler Scanner
3、 plus the ability to model an object over time. See Time-based Measurement / PhotoModeler Motion for more information.“PhotoModeler” will be used in this document interchangably to refer to both the PhotoModer, PhotoModeler Scanner, and PhotoModeler Motion products.To use PhotoModeler, one or more p
4、hotographs of a scene or an object are taken. The photographs are displayed on screen and the operator marks each photograph with the mouse, tracing and tagging features of interest. PhotoModeler then combines the data and locates the marked features in three dimensions. The marks become accurately
5、measured points, lines, curves, cylinders or surfaces in a single, unified 3D space. 24、hotoModeler website at Your dealers policies may be different.PhotoModeler ActivationActivation is a set of simple and quick steps taken after program installation in order to activate your Maintenance Subscription and begin using PhotoModeler. If youve used Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office or ma
25、ny of the Adobe products you have already used a similar activation system. When PhotoModeler is activated online, it contacts a central server over the internet to activate your software and Maintenance Subscription and tie it to the provided activation code (which is printed on the box and CD case
26、 labels, or provided by Eos or your dealer by email).Our system does tie your license permanently to your computer hardware but it has built-in tolerance for changes to your machine, and you should have no problem re-activating your software after reformatting your hard drive, after upgrading hardwa
27、re components in your computer, or when you move your software to a new computer. The simplest method of Activation, re-activation or deactivation requires an Internet connection. This Internet connection can be on a computer that is different than the computer on which PhotoModeler is installed. Yo
28、u can also manually activate PhotoModeler by getting special codes over the phone or via email from PhotoModeler Technical Support.When you first launch PhotoModeler while in Evaluation or Demo mode, the Welcome to PhotoModeler Dialog will appear. You can carry out various Licensing tasks (eg activa
29、tion, license move and license deactivation) at any time using the License Management Dialog, accessible from the Options menu. This is also where you access the Manual Activation tools if you need to do an offline activation (without connecting to the internet).Note: If at some point after activati
30、on you would like to install PhotoModeler on a different computer, you must first move your license off of the activated computer, before you uninstall.
