1.3DEFINITIONS

A.ArtificialClimbingWall:

Sportsequipmentexclusivelydesignedandoriginallybuiltforclimbing.Artificialclimbingwallsmaybedesignedandusedforleadclimbing,topropeclimbing,andbouldering.

B.Route:

Climbablesurfaceapproximatelyfivefeet(m)widethatextendsverticallyfromthebaseofthewall.Thenumberofpotentialroutesonaclimbingwallisnormallydeterminedbythewidthofthewallataheightoffivefeet(m)fromitsbase.

C.AnchorPoint:

Usedtobelayclimbersduringtheirascentortolowerthemduringtheirdescent.

D.TopRopeClimbing:
