Noonecanstopnaturalearthquakes.However,scientistscanhelpstopearthquakesdestroyingwholecitiesandcausingtoomanydeaths.Inthoseareaswhereearthquakesoftenhappen,theyrecordmountaintemperaturesandtakephotosfromtheairandifanythingstartstohappen,theywarngovernmentstobepreparedforpossibledisasterssothatemergencyplansareputintoactiontolessenthedisaster,probablysavingmanylives.

Firefightingisaseriousmatter.Knowingwhattododuringafirecansavepeople’slives.Itisimportanttoknowthewaysyoucanuseandshowthemtoeveryoneelseinthefamily,suchasstairwaysandemergency(紧急事件)exits,butnotlifts.
