1.Abstract
Theprimaryobjectofthefirstediteonofthisbookwastoprovideainformationbookonstudentsstudyinginuniversity,Inadditiontofulfillingthisfunction,thisbookhasbeenusedincreasinglybythenoviceasanintroductoryguide,becauseitprogressesinsimplestagesfromtheconsoderationofbasicprinciplesandcomponentstomotedetailedewplanationofthemorecomplextypesofspecialpurposemould。
Therevisededitionhasbeendiviedintothreesections:
elementarymoulddesign,intermediatemoulddesign,amdaspectsofpractialmoulddesign.PartOnecoversmould-makingmethodsincludigstandardmouldparts.Otherprimaryconsiderationssuchasfeedsystems,partingsurfaceandmouldcoolingarealsocovered.PartTwoprogressestospecificdesignssuchassplits,suchassplits,side-core,unscrewing,underfeed,andhot-runnertypes.PartThreeisincludeschaptersontopicssuchasprocedurefordesigninganinjectionmould,checkingmoulddrawingsandworkedexamplesetc。
Inthisedition,forsizelimitationreasons,noattempthasbeenmadetoincludethemoretheoreticalaspectsofmoulddesign.topicssuchasCAD,aspectsoftheology,heattransfer,fouidflow,etc.,havebeenexcluded.Itistheauthor’sinteniontoincludetheseimportanttheoreticalsubjectsinacompanionvolumewhichismowinpreparation。
Inthewidespreadproductscopethemorewidespreaduseplasticparts,fromtheconsumptionproducttothemachinery,theautomobileandtheairplane,theinjectionmoldingcrafthadbeenrevealedfirmlyanimportantfabricationtechnology,themolddesignprocessusuallyisnewproductdevelopmentveryimportantonestep.Accordingtotheconvention,themolddesignhasbeenonevery"thedeification"art,needsmanyyearexperiences,onlythenmaytherelativefamiliarity.Becausetheinitialperiodstudiesinthisarttobequitedifficult,moreandmorefewpeopleprofitinthisdomainfromtheexperienceandontheknowledgeexpertsbody.Inordertochangethepresentcondition,oneofitsmethodshasusedthecomputer-aideddesign(CAD)system.CADtakesdailyterminologyalreadychangesintoonekindofwidespreadability,andalreadyinapplicationeducation,schoolteaching,threedimensionalmachinedesigneachdomain.Atpresent,themajorityofCADsystemcanonlyprovidethegeometricmodelingfunction,thesefunctionscanonlypromotethemolddesigngrasstodrawtheoperation,cannotprovidetheknowledgewhichthemolddesignerneeds.Therefore,many"attachment"thesoftware,forexampleIMOLD,hadalreadyformulatedthetoplevelthreedimensionalmodellingplatform,byfacilitatesmold'sdesignprocess.Thiskindofarrangementinmanyaspectsislikelyadvantageous,thethreedimensionalmodellingplatformprovidestheplug-inunittypesoftwaremodulestorehousefunction,aswellasestablishesauserinterfaceandthedesignstyle,therefore,these"optional"thedevelopmenttimeisthebigreduction.
2.Injectionmolddesign
Theinjectionmoldingapplicationtemperaturedependencechangematerialperformance,throughusesthemoldtoobtainthefinalshapeseparateparttocompleteortocompletethesizeclose.Inthiskindofprocessofmanufacture,theliquidmaterialiscompelledtofill,coagulatesinthediespacemold.first,mustcreateapatternmoldtoneedadesignmodelandcarriesthebox.First,mustcreateapatternmoldtoneedadesignmodelandcarriesthebox.Thedesignmodelhasrepresentedtheendproduct,butcarriestheboxtorepresentthemoldmodule'sbulkvolume.Theinjectionmolddesigninvolvesthemoldstructureandthefunctionconstituentwidespreadexperienceknowledge(heuristicknowledge).Inthetypicalprocessmoldstherecentdevelopmenttobepossibletodivideintofourbigstages:
Productdesign,mold'sabilityappraisal,partdetaileddesign,insertiondiespacedesignanddetailedmolddesign.intheinitialstage,theproductconceptisin(usuallyistogetheracombinationmarketingandproject)completesbyseveralpeople.Theinitialstagemainfocalpointisanalyzesthemarkettheopportunityandtheadaptationstrategy.Inthefirststage,thecanonicalcorrelationcraftmanufactureinformationisincreasedtothedesign,designsthegeometrydetail.Theconceptualdesignusesuitablemanufactureinformationtransformsasthegoodswhichmaymake.Inthesecondstage,thedrawingofpatternsdirectionandaminutehairsbreadthbuyforuseexaminemold'sability.Otherwise,thecomponentsshaperevisesoncemore.Inthethirdstage,thecomponentsgeometryisusesfortoestablishthemoldthecoreandthediespaceshape,themoldthecoreandthediespace,willusefortoformthecomponents.Generally,thecontractionandtheexpansionneedtoperformtoconsider,likethis,inprocessesunderthetemperature,theformationwillhavethecorrectsizeandtheshape.Therunner,theflowchannel,thecoldslugwell,theventalsoneedtoperformtosupplement.Betweenthegeometrydataandtheminutemoldinformation'srelationinthispointisveryimportant.Thefourthstageandthemoldoverallmechanismarerelated,themoldoverallmechanismincludingconnectsthemoldtoarriveattheinjectionmoldingmachine,theinjectionmoldingmachineisusesinpouring,cooling,takingoutthemechanismwhichassembleswiththemold.Partsoftheheattreatmentprocess,inthepartsoftheaccessrequirementsofthehardnessAtthesametime,internalstresscontrolneededtoensurethatsparepartsprocessingofthestabilityofsize,differentmaterialsweredifferentapproach.Toolingindustryinrecentyearswiththedevelopmentofmoretypesofmaterialsused,inadditiontoCr12,40Cr,Cr12MoV,carbide,onthestrengthofsomeofthework,theharshedgeoftheconvexandconcavedie,thechoiceofanewpowderalloysteelmaterial,suchastheV10,ASP23,suchmaterialwithhighthermalstabilityandgoodstateoftheorganization.Cr12MoVresponsetothematerialparts,intheroughafterquenching,afterquenchingalotoftheworkpieceretentionstress,oreasilyleadtofinishingtheworkofcracking,sparepartsshouldbequenchedwhileitishottemper,quenchingeliminatestress.quenchingthetemperaturecontrolledat900-1020℃,andthencooledtoair-cooled200-220℃released,andthenquicklymelteddown220℃temper,itisknownasahardeningprocess,andtheintensitywillbehighwearresistance,towearFailuretoformmoldseffective.Encounteredintheproductionofsomeofthecornermorecomplexshapeoftheworkpieceandtemperingisnotenoughtoeliminatequenchingstress,beforefinishingannealingisneededtostressormultiple-agingtreatment,andfullyreleasestress.AgainstV10,APS23powderalloysteel,andothercomponentscanwithstandhightemperaturesbecauseoftempering,hardeningavailableinthesecondhardeningprocess,1050-1080℃quenchingandtemperingtemperaturereuse490-520℃andmanytimes,canbemorehighimpacttoughnessandstabilitytothecollapsingedgeasthemainformofdiefailureisapplicable.Thehighercostofsteelpowder,butitsgoodperformance,isagrowingtrendofextensiveuse.
3.Execution
ThefactindicatedthattheSolidWorksAPIconnectionhasusedtheobject-orientedmethodandtheAPIfunctionpermissionchoiceobjectlanguage,forexample:
AsprogramminglanguageVisualC++.Usingthismethod,underWindowsNT,basedonWindowsinjectionmoldthreedimensionaldesignapplicationsoftwarethroughVisualC++codeandcommercialsoftwareSolidWorks99connectiondevelopment.Thisdividesintoseveralstagesusingthemolddesignprocess,providesthemolddesignertomakethemolddesignreliablemethod.Figure3hasoutlinedthisframe.Eachstagemayregardasastand-aloneprogrammodule.SeveralunitshavesucceededuseSolidWorkstodevelop.Inthemtwotemplatemodulesandtheminutemoldmoduleasfollowsshow.

basedonthepouldframedesign'smoldandallmodulesandthefitting,looklikeHASCO,DME,HOPPT,LKMandFUTABAmayfoundtheparametrizationstandardtemplateautomatically.Thedesignercommonlyusedmaywitheasehavecustom-madetemplate'sthiskindofpouldframe.Themainfeatureincludes:
