Introduction

In1874,thepalacewasthebirthplaceoftheduke’smostfamousdescendant,WinstonChurchill,whowastobecometheUK’sPrimeMinister(somewouldsayBritain’sgreatest20th-centurypolitician)andNobelPrizewinnerforliterature.ItisalsoinBlenheimthatWinstongotmarriedtoClementineHozierin1908.

Alastingexhibitionisdevotedtotheman’slife,workandwritings.WinstonandhiswifeareburiedinBladonChurchwithinthepalace.
