Accordingtoapressreleaseonthereport,researcherssharedthatcoffeedrinkersare“lesslikelytodiefromheartdisease,respiratorydisease,stroke,injuriesandaccidents,diabetes,andinfections,althoughtherelationshipwasnotseenforcancer.”
Resultsindicatedparticipantsthatdrankthreeormorecupsofcoffeeadayreducedtheirriskofdeathby10percent.Basedonthefindingsthatbothcaffeinatedandnon-caffeinatedcoffeefoundsimilarresults,researchersarethinkingcaffeineisnottheprotectiveingredient（原料）,althoughwhichingredientincoffeemightbe,theyarenotsure.
