Therearemanywaysofgettinginformationandkeepuswell-informedofwhatisgoingonintheworld.First,wecangetinformationbyreadingnewspapersandnewsmagazineswhichcontainsarticlesaboutinformationincludinglocal,regional,nationalandinternationalnews,aswellassportsnews,weatherreports,andotherfeatures.Second,wecanlistentothenewsontheradioandwatchitontelevisiontogetinformation.Inaddition,someTVstationsoffermorningnews,latenightnewsandweeklynewsprograms.Finally,wecangetinformationmostquicklyandaccuratelyfromtheinformationexpress----theInternet,whichisnowacknowledgedasthemostimportantmeansforpeopletokeepupwiththelatestinformation.

Withtherapiddevelopmentofscienceandtechnology,Ibelievethatinformationwillbecomestillmoreimportantinthefutureandwillplayamoreandmoreimportantpartinpeople’sdecision-making.Andinthemeanwhile,themeansbywhichtogetinformationwillalsobeconstantlyrenewed.

Therearevariouswaysforastudenttopaythistuitionandfees.Tobeginwith,ifthestudentisquiteexcellentinhisstudies,hecanapplyforscholarship.Secondly,especiallyinChina,hecanalwaysdependonhisparentsforallkindsofexpenditure,includinglivingallowances.Then,hecanchoosetoturntothebankforaloantopayhiseducation,whichhecanrepayaftergraduation.Ifhefindsallabovenotdesirable,hestillhasanotherroadtotake-----todoapart-timejobandworkhiswaythroughcollege.

ManypeoplebelieveinanoldChinesesaying,“Contentishappiness.”Theyarguethatpeople’sdesireisboundlessandstrugglingendlesslyforthebetteroftenleadstodisappointmentandmisery.Sotheirphilosophyoflifeistobecontentwiththepresentcondition.

However,othersthinkdifferently.Theyholdthatdissatisfactiontosomeextentservesasamotivepowerforsocietytomoveforward.Itispeople’sdissatisfactionwithwhattheyhavethaturgespeopletomakepainstakingeffortstoinventorimprovethingsandinturnmakelifemoreconvenientandcomfortable.

Inmyopinion,thereisundyinghungerforimprovementandadvancementinhumannature.Sodissatisfactionmakesusfeelchallengedandstimulatesusfurthereffortsinbuildingabetterworldforbothourselvesandourchildren.

Makingfriendsispartofoursociallife,yetweobviouslycannotmakefriendswitheverybody.Wehavetochooseourfriendswisely.

Internetisplayinganincreasinglyimportantroleinpeople’slives.Asaninformationexpresswaysystem,Internethasmadevariousinformationavailableatourfingers’tip.Surfingonthenet,researcherscangetagloballookatthelatestdevelopmentintheirfields.Besides,Internetservesasthemostconvenientmeansforcommunication.ThroughInternet,peoplecandiscussvariousproblemsandmakefriendswitheachother.Internetisalsoafaithfulaidinourdailylifesincepeoplecangoshoppingandgetmedicalservicesonline.SoInternetisindeedoneofthemostinterestingandimportantinventionsmanhasevermade.
