1.1SafetyInstructions
Readthesafetyinstructionsbeforeanyoperationontheequipment.Thesafetyprecautionsmentionedinthismanualareasupplementtothelocalsafetycodes.
Onlytrainedprofessionalsareallowedtoinstall,operateandmaintaintheequipment.ZTEbearsnoliabilitytotheconsequencesincurredbyviolationofthegeneralsafetyoperationrequirements,orviolationofthesafetystandardsfordesigning,manufacturingandusingtheequipment.
Doobservethelocalsafetycodesduringtheequipmentinstallation;theinstallationpersonnelmustbequalifiedforhighvoltageandACpoweroperations.
Neverwearanyconductiveobject,suchaswatch,handchain,braceletandringduringtheoperationoftheequipment.
Preventanymoisturefromenteringtheequipmentduringoperations.
Highvoltagedanger:
Theequipmentispoweredwithhighvoltage.Directcontactorindirectcontactwithoutproperprecautionsisdangerous.Payattentiontocautionsignsontheequipment.
Usespecificallypurposetools:
Besuretousespecial-purposetoolsinsteadofcommontoolsandpersonaltoolswhenworkingwithhighvoltagesandACpowersupplies.
Electrostatic:
Staticelectricitygeneratedbyhumanbodymaydamagecomponents.Beforetouchingaplug-inboard,circuitboardoranICchip,alwayswearanantistaticwriststrapwiththeotherendwellgrounded.
Neverinstallordisconnectpowercableswithpoweron:
Switchoffthepowersupplybeforeinstallingordisconnectingapowercable.Beforeconnectingacable,makesurethatthecableanditslabelmeettherelatedrequirements
DCshortcircuitdanger:
TheZXDU58/68systemprovidesDCpowerofconstantvoltage.DCshortcircuitcausesfataldangeranddamagetotheequipment.
1.2TypeofExternalAlarms
ExternalAlarmsarethedevices/sensorstodetectenvironmentalconditionsthatincludeDoorAlarm,SmokeAlarmandOverTempAlarm.
1.2.1DoorAlarm
DoorAlarmisusedformonitoringofthedoorstatus.ThealarmwillbeappearingifthedoorofthePowerSystem/EquipmentRoomisopened.
1.2.2SmokeAlarm
SmokeAlarmisusedformonitoringofthesmokestatusintheequipmentroom.Themonitoringsystemwillreceiveanalarmwhenthereissmokyintheequipmentroom.
1.2.3OverTemperatureAlarm
OverTemperatureAlarmisusedforcheckingiftheenvironmentaltemperatureishigherthantheupperlimit.Themonitoringsystemwillreceiveanalarmwhentheenvironmentaltemperatureisoverlimit*.
*Thedefaultvalueoftheovertemperaturealarmis40℃,andthisthresholdcouldbesetatthefrontpaneloftheMonitoringUnitorbackgroundEMS.

2.ImplementationPlan
2.1NewAlarmImplementation
TheEMS(EnvironmentalMonitoringSystem)isoperatedbythePowerSupplySysteminProjectP.TheExternalAlarms(DoorAlarm,SmokeAlarmandOverTemperatureAlarmasTable2.1areconnectedtothesignalconversioncircuitboardinsidethePowerSupplySystem.Thosealarmsensorsarereal-timemonitoringtheenvironmentandthesignalsaretransferredtothePowersystem.Afterdataanalysis,thesedataistransmittedtotheeBBUBviaRS232connector,andthentransferredtothebackgroundpowersupplymonitoringsystembytelecommunicationsystemasfollowFig2.1:

2.3ImplementationObjectives
ForPhase1:
Beforechangeover,theexistingalarmsandtheexternalPowerEMSAlarmbothareappliedonthesite.Theexternalalarmwillbecompletetheconnectionandthefunctionaltestonsite.Thosealarmdevicesaretemporarylocatedatthepowersystemrack,butnotreplacethelocationoftheexistingalarmsatthemoment.Ontheotherhand,thesiteisregisteredtotheEMSandundermonitoring.
ForPhase2:
Forindoorequipmentroomandcommonequipmentroom,externalPowerEMSAlarmisinstallednexttotheexistingexternalalarm.Foroutdoorsite,externalPowerEMSAlarmisinstalledinsideW121powersystem.TOSteamisrequiredtomonitoralarmsfrombothNSNandZTEequipment.
2.4AlarmTest
Thefunctionaltest**isgivenfortheexternalalarmsaftercompletedtheinstallationonsite.AndthetestresultisrecordedonthePowerSupplySystemTestRecordwithfilenameXXX_PWRCOMM_DD-MM-YYYY_V1.0.docwhereXXXisthesitecode.

AllthosesensorsareconnectedtothePowerSupplySystembya2-wayconnector.AndtheconnectorislocatedattheSIB***(forH900,H151,W121)andEMB(forT601).

3.2.1DoorAlarm
TheDoorAlarmDeviceismadeby2parts,whicharethedoormagnet(Fig3.4)andthecablewithconnector(Fig3.5).
FortheIndoorsites,theDoorMagnetDeviceshouldbeinstalledatthemaindooroftheEquipmentRoom.Corresponsively,theendofthecablewiththedetectorshouldbeinstalledatthedoorframe.Andthen:
