3.Whileitmaynotalwaysbepossibletopreventstress,thereareanumberofwaysinwhichit canbecontrolled.Thefirstthingthatthetraineeslearnishowtomanagetheirtime effectively.Thisinvolves,firstofall,settingrealisticgoalsforboththeshortandlong term.Oncethisframeworkhasbeenestablished,tasksarethenprioritisedonadailybasis.The traineesarealsoremindedthatwhentheyareunderpressurethelessimportantitemsshouldbe left,andtheyshouldneverhesitatetodelegate.Everyoneisencouragedtolookatwaysof reducing'wastedtime',forexamplebygroupingsimilartaskstogetherordealingwithitems immediately.
4.Janefeelsthatoneofthemostusefulfeaturesofthecourseisthatitenablestraineesto dealwiththosedemandsordeadlinesthattheyregardasunreasonable.Theyareencouragedto avoidbeingdefensive,butatthesametimetheyareadvisednottobeafraidofsaying'no'.
