Theideaforherstudycamefromanewspaperarticleaboutapolitician.Oneofusreadaspeechthatwasprintedinanewspaperfromapoliticianwithwhomhestronglydisagreed.Thenextweek,heheardtheexactsamespeechplayingonaradiostation.Hewasshockedbyhowdifferenthisreactionwastowardthepoliticianwhenhereadthespeechcomparedtowhenheheardit.Whenhereadthestatement,thepoliticianseemedidiotic,butwhenhehearditspoken,thepoliticianactuallysoundedreasonable.
