2.Toknowhowtotalkaboutobligationorlackofobligation.3.TomasterAAAtalkingmodelandtodevelopthefriendlyenvironmentwhenhavingtalkwithothers.

Importantanddifficultpoints:

1.GetstudentstounderstandhowtohaveachatwithothersinEnglishculture.

2.Makestudentsknowtheimportanceofsmalltalkbetweenpersons.3.Helpstudentstoimprovetheculturalunderstandingskillsindifferentcountries.

Teachingprocedures:

Step1.Inthispart,theteachercantalkwithstudentsinsmalltalk,andtheteachercanchoosedifferenttopicwithdifferentstudents.Forexample:

Step3.DividethestudentsintogroupsoftwoonestodiscussthefivequestionsinActivity2.Thentheteachercanchoosesomegroupsofstudentstoshowtheirsmalltalktoallthestudents.TheSscanhavedifferentopinions,buttheymustgivethereasonfortheiropinions.

Step4.MakeatalkbetweentheSsandtheteacher,thenintroducethetopicaboutmust,haveto,don’thavetoandmustn’t.
