分析遵义近5年中考真题可以看出，书面表达的话题贴近学生生活，涉及学生生活的方方面面，侧重考查“针对生活中的某些现象”发表自己的观点的议论文和与学习、生活相关的应用文（应用文多以日记和书信的形式考查）。
2016年考查的书面表达是一篇议论文：
像蚂蚁一样生活，这与以往的体裁不同，是看图作文，提示比较全面。
预测2017年遵义中考的书面表达的写作话题一定贴近学生的生活与学习，文体、写作主题和设置形式基本与前5年类似。
解题方法与技巧
【书面表达答题“五步曲”】
第一步：
认真审题，确定文章体裁、主题。
第二步：
在草稿纸上根据题目要求列出规定的要点，然后列出每个要点所需短语或句型，并适当拓展。
注意选取合适的时态。
第三步：
将所列语言材料组合写成连贯通顺的文章。
注意使用合适的连词和承上启下的句子。
注意开头点题，结尾要有合适的结束语。
第四步：
仔细读一遍草稿，挑出错误，对拿不准的句子或词语进行修改或删减。
（宁缺毋滥）注意控制词数（若要求60～80词，则75词左右最佳）。
第五步：
将修改无误的短文工整地誊抄在卷面上。
