一、背景知识
口译是一种综合运用视、听、说、写、读等技能的语言操作活动。
“视”是指口译者要具有观察捕捉说话者的脸部表情、手势体姿、情绪变化等非语言因素的能力。
“听”是指口译者能够耳听会意各种带地方口音和不同语速的话语能力。
“说”是指口译者能够用母语和外语进行流利而达意的表达能力。
“写”是指口译者在口译过程中能够快速记笔记的能力。
“读”是指口译者在视译时,能够进行快速阅读和理解的能力。
口译是一种信息交流,其内容包罗万象,所服务的对象也是没有范围和界限的。
他们来自不同国家、不同阶层、各个行业,有着不同的教育背景和文化背景,声音高低不同,口音迥异。
要想做好口译工作,口译者不仅要有扎实的语言基本功、流利的双语表达能力,还要是一名通晓百世的杂家。
