（一）形容词与副词

形容词通常用来修饰名词。

如：

beautifulgirl.hardwork.deliciousmeal.

副词通常用来修饰动词。

如：

runquickly.workhard.listencarefully.

形容词是可以转换为副词的，方法如下：

1.一般情况在词尾加-ly

sad-sadlyquick-quicklywarm-warmly

2.辅音字母+le结尾的单词，通常去e加y

simple-simplyterrible-terriblycomfortable-comfortably

3.以y结尾的单词，通常是改y为i，加-ly

4.本身既是形容词又是副词（雌雄同体）

（二）形容词与副词的比较级和最高级的构成

概要

大多数形容词和副词有三个等级：

1.原级，即原形。

2.比较级，表示“较…”或“更…”。

3.最高级，表示“最…”。

构成

1.规则变化

1一般在词尾加-er或-est

2以字母e结尾的词，在词尾加-r或者-st

fine-finer-finestnice-nicer-nicest

3重读闭音节词词尾只有一个辅音字母时，先双写该辅音字母，再加-er或-est

4以“辅音字母+y”结尾的双音节词，改y为i.再加-er或-est

5部分双音节词或多音节词，通常在词前加more或most

（三）形容词与副词的原级，比较级和最高级的用法

原级：

1系动词后as…as.notas/so…as…

例1:

2被very.so.too.enough.quite等词修饰时

3在as…as…或者notas/so…as…中间
