Berners－LeewasborninEnglandin1955.Hisparents，whohelpeddesigntheworld'sfirstcommerciallyavailablecomputer，gavehimagreatloveofmathematicsandlearning.

In1980，Berners－LeewenttoworkatCERN，aphysicslaboratoryinGeneva，Switzerland，wherehehadalotofmaterialtolearnquickly.Hehadapoormemoryforfactsandwantedtofindawaytohelphimkeeptrackofthings

hecouldn'tremember.Heinventedasoftwareprogrammethatallowedhimtocreateadocumentthathadlinkstootherdocuments.Hecontinuedtodevelophisideathroughthe1980s.Hewantedtofindawaytoconnecttheknowledgeandcreativityofpeopleallovertheworld.

In1991，hisprojectbecameknownastheWorldWideWeb.ThenumberofInternetusersstartedtogrowquickly.However，Berners－LeeisnotcompletelyhappywiththewaytheWebhasdeveloped.Hethinksithasbecomeapassivetoolforsomanypeople，notthetoolforcreativitythathehadimagined.

想象作文可分为两类：
