本课采取了图片、声音、音乐、视频等多种形式讲授单词和语法点，为学生全方位、立体式、声情并茂的呈现了课堂学习的魅力，最大限度地调动了学生听觉、视觉和学习的积极性，激发了学习兴趣，较好地实现了学习知识点、能力培养、情感教育三者融会贯通的教学目的。
2.在教学活动应用新媒体新技术的关键事件（起止时间（如：
5'20''-10'40''），时间3-8分钟左右，每节课2-3段），引起了那些反思（如教学策略与方法的实施、教学重难点的解决、师生深层次互动，生成性的问题解决等）。

在屏幕上直接讲解知识点，更能突出重点知识。
突破一般过去时的模糊记忆。
26’51’’-32’23’’用视频和拉幕呈现王进喜画面，又通过用一般过去时写有关关大庆、铁人的故事，这样既锻炼了学生的说和写的能力，又激发了学生的爱家乡、爱祖国的热情。
视频让学生一下回到过去艰苦的大庆，很真实，生动，效果很好。
3.新技术应用于教学的创新点及效果思考（教学组织创新、教学设计创新等）。
最大限度地调动了学生听觉、视觉和学习的积极性，激发了学习兴趣，较好地实现了学习知识点、能力培养、情感教育三者融会贯通。
在知识点巩固环节，精选例题，突出要点，强化训练，发散学生思维，引导学生去思考、去讨论、去研究，使学生在趣味中巩固语法知识，在研讨互动中加深对一般过去时的理解和认识，这种方式非常适合现阶段学生的认知特点，便于学生接受、消化和吸收。
在教学理念上，突出学生主体意识，强调学生的参与性和实践性，让学生做课堂的主人。
通过单词连线、发言等环节，让学生踊跃上台，敢于表现自我，展示自我，进一步培养了学生课堂主人翁意识。
在情感培育上，我进行了精选设计，结合教育部门对大庆精神、铁人精神进校园的要求，精心准备了有关大庆精神的视频图片，简要对大庆精神、铁人精神进行了介绍，并让学生运用一般过去时讲述大庆精神、铁人精神的故事，与知识点紧密结合，这样既锻炼了学生的说和写的能力，又激发了学生的爱国情感，升华了爱家乡、爱祖国的热情。
这也是本节课的又一个亮点和特色。
