ActuallytodayIdon*tevenreallyknowwhyI'mhererightnow,butIkeptgettingmessagefromJessetellingmetocomeandtalktoyouguys,soIwassupposedtocomelastyear.SoFmactuallyinNewYorkrightnowdoingamusicperfamancetonight.SoIdecidedtotakesometimeandspeakwithyouguys.Idon'thaveaPowerPointpresentation.IthinkafewthingsIwantedtospeaktoyouguysaboutistheimportanceofyouknowtheexperienceofwhatI'vehadinworkingintheChinesemarketIcanseethatmostofushereareAsianhopefullymostofusareChineseIthink.ThafswhatJessetoldme.SoyouknowIthinkonecommonmistakethatalotofpeopledoissaying"It'sgoodforChina,it'sgoodforChina.,5SopeoplewatchamoviethafsChineseandtheysay“Oh,thatwasagoodmovieforaChinesemovie."Andfcrmethatdoesn'tcutit,thatdoesn'tmakeanysensetome,doyouunderstand.Amovieisamovie.Itshouldn'tbe:

AndumyouknowIthinkthatyouknowlikeanothergoodexamplethatiship-hopmusic,I’vebeendoinghip-hopmusicfor1015years,andnowallofasuddenit’ssuperpopularinChinasothat’sanexampleofmyperseveranceandmybeliefinmywork.AndyouknowanotherimportantthingI’veeverlearnedisifyoufindajobthatyoulove,youreallydon’thavetoworkanymorebecauseyouknoweverydayIwakeupandI’mdoingworkyeahI’mdoingworkI’mconsultingforthisbrandI’mrecordingthissongI’mdesigningtheshoe,butit’snotreallyworktome.Cuzit’ssomethingthatIloveissomethingI’mpassionateforissomethingthatIwanttotelltheworld.SoIthinkwhat’smostimportantalsothatIwantedtotellyouisyouknowitmightbethatallteachisreallyinrightnoworIdon’tknowbasketballorsomethingandyou’relikeohI’mgannagothatmarketandtrytomakesomemoney,nineoutoftentimesyouwilllosebecauseyou’reonlytryingtodoitforfinance.Financeissecondary,passionisfirstCuzlikeIsaidifyouhavepassionforsomethingnomatterhowharditisit’sallworthit.Butifyou’rejusttryingtolookforadollarbillthere’salotofplacesyoucanfindeasymoneybutifyou’retryingtodosomethingfor10to15yearsorforyourlifetime,ifyougointoanindustrythatisonlybecausethere’smoneyormymothertoldmetogodoit.Ifeelsorryforyoubecauseyou’regonnahaveahorriblelife,andeverydayyouwakeupyou’regonnahavetobelookatyourselfinthemirrorandyou’regonnabesad.SoIthinkanotherthingthatIwantedtotellyouguysistobelieveinyourselfandbelieveinyourdreamsandreallyyouknowfindyourowngrooveandsticktoitbelieveinit.Andnomatteri
