ProfessionalDriver:

DriverusingCompanyOwned/leased/Rentedvehicleforcompanypurposewithavaliddrivinglicense.

PersonalDriver:

-Anydriverhiredbyemployeetouseprivatelyowned/leased/rentedvehiclewithavaliddrivinglicenseforcompanypurpose.

Incident:

-Anynearmiss,whichcouldhavecreatedapotentialcollision,oranyon-theroaddefaultsonsafetyprocedure.Incidentdoesnotresultintoanypersonnelorproperty/vehicledamage.

Accident:

-AnyunforeseenoccurrenceofaneventwhichresultsinemployeeordriverinjuryorsubstantialDamagetoavehicleistermedasaccidentItiscategorizedintoMajorandMinorAccident.

Allemployeeswhousecompanyowned/leased/rentedvehicleorprivatelyownedvehicleforcompanypurpose.

ApprovedVendor:

-VendorcomplyingwithalltermsandconditionsofGENPACTcontractualagreementtosupplyvehiclesonRentalongwithProfessionalDrivers.MeetingallLegalandEHSrequirementsaslaiddowninthecontractwithVPQdonebyEHS/Legal/Sourcing.

ApprovedDriver:

-ProfessionaldriverofVendor,workingforGENPACTservices,DriverclearingDriverAssessmentandSelectionprocess,andclearingallClass1trainingwithin1weekandClass11leveltrainingwithin6monthsleveloftraining.IstermedasApproveddriver.

DASP:

DriverAssessmentandselectionprocess:

ItisoneoftherequirementsforprofessionaldrivertoenterintoApprovedDriver’sCategory.DriverhastopassanexaminationonDASPwherehe/shewillbetestedonBasicsofsafety,technicalandlocalgeographicalknowledge.

Objective:

EnsuringSafetyandcomplianceofCabs,Drivers,andEmployeesusingcompanyvehicleforbusinesspurpose.

EnsuringstatutorySafetycompliancearemetforallcompanyowned/leased/rentedvehicles

ToimpartTrainingandAwarenessonTransportsafetytoEmployeesandProfessionaldrivers.

Scope

ThisProgramisapplicabletoAllGENPACTEmployees/Professional/PersonalDrivers,usingGENPACTOwned/Leased/Rentedvehiclesorpersonallyowned/leased/rentedvehiclesusedforCompanypurpose.

ThisProgramisalsoapplicabletoallauthorizedGENPACTvendors/OfficialvisitorswhoUseCompanyowned/leased/RentedvehicleforBusinesspurpose.

Thisscopeincludesall2wheeler,4wheelerormoreasapplicable.

TransportHeadwillberesponsiblefortheoverallimplementationoftheMotorVehicleSafetyProgram.

Communicationonemployeedefaulters（employeenotfollowingSafetyrules）willbesenttotheirSDL’sbyTransportteamonamonthlybasis.

EmployeehastosubmitDriver’svalidlicenseandbiodatatoLogisticsdepartment

Driverhastomeetallsafetyguidelinesasabovewhilecarryingemployeeonbusinesspurpose.

LogisticsDeptwillissueContractorIDcardaftercollectingthedetails.

LogisticsDepartmentwillmaintaintherecordsonDriver’slicenseandtheirIDcards.

Ifanemployeeispersonallydrivingthevehicleforcompanypurpose-theyshouldalsosubmitcopyofvaliddrivinglicense,Registrationcopy,InsurancecopyandPUCcertificatetoGENPACTLogisticsteamandCollectGENPACTStickertoparkthevehicleinsidethepremises.
