Torres,whotrainsthedogsnottoattackanywildanimalwhileonseedspreadingtasks,thinksbordershepherddogsareperfectlysuitedforthejob,becauseoftheirintelligence,energyandspeed.They’velearnedthattheyhavetoemptytheirbagsinordertoreceivetheirtastyrewardwhentheyreturn,andcancovermuchmoregroundthanahumanevercould.Everyday,theycancoverupto30kilometersandspreadaroundeightkilogramsofseeds,whileapersononfootcouldonlycover3kilometers.Mostimportantly,theylovewhattheydo.
