Fallsweretheprimaryreasonforinjurywithoverthreequartersoftheinjuriesoccurringastheresultofafall.Theseverityoffallrelatedinjurieshadalottodowiththeheightofthefall.Patientswhowereinjuredafterfallingfromaheightover20feetwere10timesmorelikelytobetreatedthanpatientswhowereinjuredfallingfrom20feetorlower.
