本期我们主要复习名词性从句中的同位语从句,下面我们以高考题为例来再现这一语法项目的运用。

考点一:

同位语从句

[考点解读]

*同位语从句是用来解释或说明某一名词的内容的从句。

*同位语从句一般跟在某些名词如:

news,fact,idea,advice,suggestion,request,possibility,belief,doubt,opinion,thought,truth,report,warning等后面。

*同位语从句的引导词有that,whether,why,who,where,how,when等。

*名词doubt后的同位语从句,肯定句用whether引导,否定句或疑问句用that引导。

如:

Shehadherdoubtswhetherhewouldcome.

SomeresearchersbelievethatthereisnodoubtthatacureforAIDSwillbefound.

*有时,同位语从句可以不紧跟在说明的名词后面,而被别的词隔开。

*表示“建议、命令、要求”等的名词如command,order,demand,request,suggestion等后的同位语从句中谓语要用虚拟语气,即“(should+)动词原形”。

同位语从句与定语从句的区别

[考点解读]

*同位语从句是对名词进行解释或说明,而定语从句则是对先行词进行限定和修饰。

*同位语从句前面的名词通常是固定的一部分名词,而定语从句的先行词可以是任何的名词或代词。

*that引导同位语从句时,在从句中不作成分,不能省略;而在定语从句中要指代先行词,可以在从句中作主语、宾语或表语,在作宾语时可以省略。
