一、课程的性质、目的和任务

《综合英语》是英语（商务）专业的学科基础课程。

它是一门培养学生听、说、读、

写、译等综合技能的课程。

本课程教学目的和任务在于传授英语基础知识，对学生进行全

面的、严格的基本语言技能训练，培养学生实际运用语言的能力，培养学生正确的学习方

法和良好的学习作风，培养学生逻辑思维能力和独立工作能力，丰富学生的社会文化知识，

增强学生对文化差异的敏感性，为学生学习高年级专业课程打下扎实的基础。

二、课程教学的基本要求

对英语专业本科学生而言，综合英语是一门最主要的课程。

它是英语学习的核心，通

过该课程的学习，学生应了解各类体裁的文章及英美等国家的文化，掌握全面的英语应用

技能，具备综合运用语言知识的交际能力。

教学的具体要求如下：

1． 语音:

 能按照音标读出单词，发音正确；能朗读句子、课文及相应的课外短文，

语音语调正确。

2． 词汇:

 领会式掌握5000词汇及词组。

对其中4000个单词及其常用词组要求能够熟

练掌握，并用于英语语言交际实践中。

3． 语法；掌握基本语法规则，能解决阅读中较复杂的语法难题。

4． 听说：

能够就某一话题开展全面的具有创造性和话语连贯性的语言活动，并将语

言知识、交际技能和教学技巧融为一体。

5． 阅读：

掌握基本阅读技能，能借助词典顺利阅读并正确理解难度于课文内容相当

的各种题材的文章，阅读速度达到每分钟60个词。

6． 翻译：

能将与课文难易程度相当的文章译成汉语，理解正确、完整、明了。

7． 写作：

掌握不同体裁文章（记叙文,议论文,应用文等）的写作格式, 做到语法正确，

表达清晰，论点明确，有较强的思想性。

三、课程教学内容、重点和难点

1

教学内容：

本课程依据所选教材的内容并结合实际情况，因材施教，帮助学生掌握所

选教材中涉及的词汇、词组、课文与语法知识，同时进行听说、阅读、写作训练，使学生

全面掌握英语的各项基本技能。

四、课程各教学环节要求

1. 课堂教学要求

课堂教授中应注意知识的层层递进，具有连续性，语言点突出，讲解清晰准确，通过

典

型例句解释语言现象。

课堂上，遵循精讲多练，以学生为主的原则，采取问答、复述、听

写、讨论、演讲、表演等有利于学生学习英语并能激发学生对英语学习兴趣的多种课堂活

动方式的结合，以便达到教学目的。

2. 实践环节要求

本课程以互动教学方式和任务型教学结合，课堂教学中穿插如讨论、演讲、模拟等各

种

学生为主体的课堂活动。

3. 作业要求

学生需要完成所选教材中课后练习或综合训练；此外，为了帮助学生提高听、说、读、

写、译等技能，本课程应当着重培养学生的英语实际运用能力，适当增加口语、写作等作

业的布置。

4. 考核要求

闭卷笔试。

总评成绩为平时成绩占30%+期末考试70%。

平时成绩包含了学生作业、课堂

表现等方面的综合评分，期末考试主要考查课程教学的基本语言知识技能和词汇、语法、

阅读、写作等综合英语应用能力。

五、学时分配

《综合英语》授课四个学期，每周4学时，每学期64学时，总学时为256学时。

由于教

材章节较多，课堂时间有限，因此任课老师在集体备课和商讨的基础上，结合学生的实际

情况，对教材的章节进行筛选，每学期重点讲授5-6单元，主要以TEXT I 为主，TEXT II

为辅，具体内容及学时数安排见附表（具体的单元选取可根据实际情况做出调整）：

六、本课程与其它课程的关系

作为基础阶段的核心必修课程，综合英语一门相对独立的专业基础课，也可以与其它

基础课如英语听力、英语口语、英语阅读、英语写作等课程相结合，确保对学生进行全面、

严格的基本语言技能训练；同时，也为学生学习高年级专业课程打下扎实的基础。
