ElephantswereusedforhundredsofyearsinThailand'sloggingindustry(伐木业).Theymovedwoodfromforestsinareaswheretherewerenoroads.Atthebeginningofthiscentury,whentheforestsofThailandbegantoquicklydisappear,thegovernmentputastoptologging.Allofasudden,manyelephantsinThailandnolongerhadawaytomakealiving.
