本单元主要围绕“whatisthisinEnglish?
”这个话题展开，要求学生学会谈论话题，并能针对别人的问题合理地回答，并帮他人解决问题。
本单元重点学习八个表事物的名词：
map,cup,ruler,pen,orange,jacket,key,quilt。
难点是学习辨认物品的句型：
What’sthis/thatinEnglish?

通过学习本单元，学生初步学会提出问题的能力。
