SothenIbegantowatchotherEnglishmoviestoo.AlthoughIcouldnot(couldn't)understandeverythingthecharacterssaid,theirbodylanguageandtheexpressionsontheirfaceshelpedmetogetthemeaning.IalsorealizedIcouldgetitbylisteningforjustthekeywords.MypronunciationalsoimprovedbylisteningtotheinterestingconversationsinEnglishmovies.Idiscoveredthatlisteningtosomethinginterestingisthesecrettolanguagelearning.Ialsolearnedusefulsentenceslike“It’sapieceofcake”or“Itservesyouright.”Ididn’tunderstandthesesentencesatfirst.ButbecauseIwantedtounderstandthestory,Ilookedupthewordsinadictionary.NowIreallyenjoymyEnglishclass.Iwanttolearnnewwordsandmoregrammar.ThenIcanhaveabetterunderstandingofEnglishmovies.

Idon’twatchdramasordocumentarieswhenI’msadortired.DramaslikeTitanicmakemefeelevensadder.DocumentarieslikeMarchofthePenguinswhichprovideplentyofinformationaboutacertainsubjectcanbeinteresting,butwhenI’mtiredIdon’twanttothinktoomuch.Idon’tmindactionmovieslikeSpider-ManwhenI’mtootiredtothink.Icanjustshutoffmybrain,sitbackandenjoywatchinganexcitingsuperherowhoalwayssavestheworldjustintime.

Onceinawhile,Iliketowatchmoviesthatarescary,Theycanbefun,butI’mtooscareto

watchthemalone.Ialwaysbringafriendwhoisn’tafraidofthesekindsofmovies,anditdoesn'tfeelsoscaryanymore.
