1．知识目标
①巩固复习上一单元学习的形容词以及形容词比较级：

②学会并能口头运用BeijingisbiggerthanTianjin.
③学习并能识别运用短语：
MountQomolangma、MountTai、TheGreatWall、TheSummerPalace
2．.结合实际，让学生学会比较和描述两个事物。
3．从情感目标方面让学生了解祖国的河流、山川、城市及名胜古迹等。
使学生更加爱自己的祖国。
教学重点难点：
1．学习并能识别运用词组：
MountQomolangma、TheGreatWall、TheSummerPalace。
2．能口头表达及描述两个事物的差异，掌握句子：
BeijingisbiggerthanTianjin等句子。
教学方法：
复习法情景教学法小组合作

教学设想：
通过本节课的学习，学生可以掌握形容词的原级及比较级的一般变化规律，并学会使用比较级句型比较和描述两个事物。
与现实生活结合起来，让所学知识在生活中得到具体运用。
从学法上，突出了学生的主体。
从内容的安排上，从词到句子，循序渐进，在学中玩，在玩中学。
不但让学生掌握了新知识，还培养了学生的自信，培养学生学习英语的兴趣。

大多数学生可能对泰山的了解比较多一点，再和学生说：

同学们可能对MountQomolangma（分音节读）不是很了解，可以给学生们讲一下，Itisthehighestmountaininourearth!

呈现两个单元学过的形容词和比较级，齐读，分组读举手读，读得越多越好，做得好的给予奖励。
2．Pairwork
①让学生利用身边的文具.课本或者是教室里的物品或者是手掌。
衣服运用所学的句型进行比较，（贴近学生的生活实际）对于做的好的小组给与奖励。
例如：

Mypencilislongerthanyourpencil.对于不会用英语表达的物品可以用AB代替或告诉学生怎样用英语表达。
②课本活动2。
教师带领学生比较四组图画，同桌之间做对话。
