1.Checkthesceneforsafety.

3.Kneelontherightsideoftheperson.Determineunresponsiveness.

Taptheshoulderandshout“Areyouokay?

”

4.Checkforbreathing.About5seconds（Lookdowntowardstheperson’schesttoseeifitismoving.Listenwithyourear,foranyairflowthroughthemouthornose.Feelwithyourcheekifthereisanyaircomingoutofthemouth..）

5.ActivatetheEMSS.

6.Positionthepersonsupine.Logrollthepersonsothere’snotwistingofthespine.Mustbeonahard,flatsurface.Placetheperson’sarmsalongsidethebody.

7.Looseningtightcollarandbelt.

8.Checkforcarotidpulse.Lessthan10seconds.2fingers/cmlateralthethroat.Alsocheckforvisiblesignsofcirculation（breathing,coughing,moving）.

9.Circulation.Ifpersonhasnopulse,beginwiththechestCompressions.Locatebreastbone&Interlocktwohands.

Placeheelofonehandoncenterofchestbetweenthenipples（breastbone:

junctionofthemiddle1/3andlower1/3）

Besuretokeepyourfingersupoffthechestwall.

Keepyourarmsstraightandshouldersoveryourhands.Verticalforceproducedbytheupperpartofthebody.

Pushhard,pushfast.Depth:

morethan5cm/2inches.Frequency:

over100times/min.

Makearhythmandcountoutloud.（Try:

1and,2and,3and,4and,5and,6and,```30and）

After30compressions（betterin18seconds）,followwith2rescuebreaths.

10.ClearandopentheAirway.

Useyourtwofingerstoclearanythingthatblockingtheperson’sairway.

Head-tilt&Chin-lift.

ORJaw-thrust.（Useforpersonwhomaygotneckinjury.）Graspthelowerjawonbothsidesofthehead,liftitupwardandoutward.

11.Breathing.

Pinchtheperson’snosewithyourfingertips&startmouthtomouthbreathing.

Placeyourmouthovertheperson’smouthandexhale.

Givetwofullbreaths（1secondforeach）.Betweeneachbreathallowlungstorelaxasthepersonexhales.

Keepaneyeonhischest.Trynottoover-inflatetheperson’slungs.

Breathfrequency:

8~10times/2mins.400~600ml/time（foradult）

12.OneCPRcycle:

30compressions+2breaths,shouldbeperformed5times.

TimeshifforBreathingtoCompressionshouldbelimitedin5seconds.

13.After5cycles（about2minutes）ofCPR,recheckcirculation.

Ifnocirculation,continueCPRandrecheckcirculationevery2minutes.

14.Stillpulsesareabsent,ContinueCPRcycleUntilhelparrives.Thewholeprocessatleast30minutes.

15.Dothefollowingifthepersonhassignsofcirculation:

a.Checkforbreathing

b.Positionthepersoninrecoverypositioniftheperson’sbreathing.

c.Monitorbreathingandcirculation.

d.Recordtheprocess.

16.Dothefollowingifthepersonhassignsofcirculationbutbreathingisabsent:

a.Give1rescuebreathevery5seconds.

b.Monitorcirculation.
